To me, what makes him a true artist, is not how well he sings, or what he sings, it's how he never held back. He wasn't embarrassed to be himself or to put all of his emotion into every note and every lyric. When he sings you don't just hear it you feel it. Every time I play Jeff's music it's refreshing. Amongst the soullessness of today's popular artists, a little bit of Jeff Buckley in my day is a necessity. Whether or not you enjoy his music is your opinion, but it's a fact he had soul and He made music. It's a shame he can't make anymore, but I appreciate him for the music he did make and it will continue to grace my ears until I die.

I fell in love with that part of his artistry! HE did NOT care if he had to make the " ugly face" parts to get his message through as A LOT if not most musicians of his time DID CARE, HE bared his soul for all, you always hear good artist talk about almost feeling like theyre naked after some performancea, I m guessing thata whe. They bared their soul to all! JEFF ALWAYS did this, He was amazing and hia songs still are!! ♥♥♥♥

As someone who's trying to get into singing and playing music, I realize just how essential that quality is: letting go. And all this time, I thought it wasn't that big of a deal. Oh, but it is. I don't have the confidence of expressing my soul like that yet. I hold back a lot. As he once said, you really have to have courage to put your art out there, even if it means getting kicked in the nuts for it.

+Weep G. probably no other issue has been as perplexing and persistent as the question of what happens after death. For thousands of years, brilliant minds in every civilization have pondered this question. But human philosophy and scientific research have merely yielded a jumble of theories and myths. What about the teachings found in the Bible? Some may argue that on the subjects of death and the afterlife, the Bible is just as confusing. To be fair, however, we must face the fact that the confusion is caused by the many religions that muddy the clear waters of Bible teachings with fallacies and legends. When you ignore the traditions and myths and stick to what the Bible actually says, you discover a teaching that makes sense and offers hope.....I hope to meet Jeff one beautiful day and may be we sing together....I belive in this and I know that this is a TRUTH....much love
@katherinaJee559 жыл бұрын
+Weep G. the death of strangers may appear to be a normal aspect of life. Still, when it comes to the death of a loved one or to our own death, there is nothing normal about it. This is because humans have a deep-seated natural desire to live. We also possess a keen sense of time and a perception of eternity. King Solomon wrote that God “has planted eternity in men’s hearts.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11, The Amplified Bible) Under normal circumstances we want to keep living indefinitely. We want life with no expiration date. There is no indication that animals have such a yearning. They live with no awareness of the future.
@MrNighNight9 жыл бұрын
+katherinaJee55 Yes, "hope" is one of the best things we can have. It's beautiful. We don't know about what happens after death, and maybe we will never you. But "never" is a really nebulous thing to say, a harsh word. We don't know the truth, the truth about everything. I'm skeptic about a lot of things. I really like theories and wonder what this is all about. Everything. So i knew Jeff's work and yes, i was deeply in love with him(and i still am). And not just jeff, but also everyone we love, all of us want to see them again. It's really sad, know the possibility that we'll never achieve this point, even with the fact that we can find them in our memories, heart and all that stuff. Sadly, isn';t enough. It has to be something about consciousness, and something that we, human beings, didn't find yet. Part of me says that Jeff made a huge part in this world, and it's true. His job is "done" here. The other one says that he could have stayed more, amid us, to enchant us some more. Is a tough inner discord. We all, fans, know that. So, i'll just let everything flow. If we all are supposed to see them again, everyone we love, would be a really, really sweet gift. I mean, (in my opinion) not the "eternity topic", but see them alive, again. Like i said before, in some mysterious way.

I still don't understand why would God take him, he was perfect, and shouldn't have died this way. Just the fact that his pure bliss of inspiration was coming through, it such a shame that artists who are worth living a hundred years more are taken by the age of 33. I'll never stop listening to him, he's worth the memory!

+Xenia Xeni I like to think that with each perfomance and each song he lived to the fullest, and he had to die because his soul was old, wise and at peace... at least if I think about that way I don't feel so sad about it. He was truly amazin! My favorite artist and probably human being!

Jeez listen to this man, the things he says he says his songs, the intensity. He makes u feel like u r walking on clouds!! When I first heard him, I was determined that he was my future husband. My father was an opera Fan, I was into Queen, Bowie, Rock, Metal, Blues. He would look at me a lil five year old cry to Bob Dylan, I'm Chinese mind u. I reside in Hong Kong I started a band "The pregnant men' I was a 13 years old skateboard surfer girl five foot 3, and we did our own band cover a girl who knocked up 3 guys fcoz. My father heard me blast my stereo and he only praised Freddy Mercury, Jeff and fcoz Josh Groban. Dad passed and I wish to God that I had introduced him to the alien opera singer Dimash, I just want to see dad's face and that jaw drop if he witnessed Dimash sing he would flip out! Love u dad forever and a day. I write and I sing well. I walked talked early and went thru every stage. At 3 I had a small electric organ I would just play and play before they realized wait she just played the commercial jingle, I auditioned for my first school play I was yes Odeysseus the guy who led the Trojan horse into the the city. I begged my father for Whitney concert tickets, and my father was starting to fear my girl is a Born entertainer what to do the drilled it in me, most musicians or artists starve and it is more stable to be a professional. I knew that how many makes it. I came back from Whitney's concert. Told my dad flashlight came out of nowhere and she lost her temper and demanded the film to b handed over or she won't perform. Yeah her voice is excellent, she sang and did the whole encore thing. Dad I feel sorry for her the most famous female singer and she changed twice never got to eat, pee, and tomorrow she will have to do this all over again. Poor thing she eats shit and sleep singing she has no life. Dad was like oh thank God, I became a lawyer. Cheers from Hong Kong. Music is in his D.n.a. his father Tim could give old Bob a run for his money. His mom classical piano player. I remember in interviews he Jeff said music was all he had all he knew. Sad but glad he graced us with such beautiful creations that we can forever enjoy. I was a child who was faster I walked talked knew many languages they tested me, and advised my father to enroll me in every extracurricular activity, summer camps, I needed to be constantly mentally stimulated den I won't run about causing trouble. I was born in Taipei and did a few commercials. I mean somebody wanted to sign me to make me look like a sweet girl doing her dance moves and I was like heck no. To show my midriff and sing things which I have no interest in and what be your cash cow. I told my dad music poetry was a hobby a way to expressing myself. If this thing was my job I would suffocate, but no doubt it was fun to jam. Plus we took it seriously and we were s fixture in the Battle of the Band's in High school.
