the laughter is from the 'Awareness' that these questions are just the silly ego trying desperately to stay stuck in egoland. there are no answers. anything Jeff could say...would only lead to the ego asking more questions. the questions sound very funny from an Awareness/Spaciousness perspective. the ego is like a little kid in the backseat saying over and over, "are we there yet? can we stop for icecream? are there bears there? why is the sky blue? are we going to see aunt patty? is there a place to swim?" And you can only laugh. because the answers to these question will resolve themselves when the child arrives...or more likely, the child will forget he even had them in the first place.

My favorite youtube video EVAH, never laughed so much!! This is the most wonderful demonstration of the difference tween intellect and intelligence, and never more so than in enlightenment chasing circles! You can be extremely intellectual, know a lot, and not be particularly intelligent. Nature is thee intelligence - and we are that - reverence her, follow her lead. The human wanting machine (cleverly disguised by spiritual dogma and bypassed ) is rampant in spiritual circles. “Die well to live well” . Nature, the pure intelligence of Life, has no measure of loss or gain.

They laugh because all there already is is the universal flow of manifestation and the only thing that isn't real in that question is the ego. It is a perfect example of the lunacy..... Belief in separate mind created (thus imaginary) selves (egos) over what is already here and functioning. It is funny because the question is phrased like the true reality comes and goes when it is just the opposite, the ego comes and goes. The universal flow is the only consistent. Looking through ego, the questioner sees the opposite. They both identify and see the error. A beautiful thing.

They are laughing at how absurd it is to ask unanswerable pretzel logic questions and then wanting so badly to know the answer to them. They aren’t making fun of anyone or anything, they are just in full recognition of the absurdity of a lumpy bloody brain trying to believe it can understand “truths” which simply don’t exist. Best video I’ve ever seen on understanding and letting go of habitual circular addictive totally fabricated problems.

Oh my goodness for more hilarious ness like this just watch anything Rupert Spira talks about. These guys here would end up in the hospital from a laughing OD. I really love non dual stuff but I just watched a Rupert Spira thing and at one point he said “awareness is made of knowing” And I thought of this vid and realized that just about everything he was saying was just unknowable claptrap. Jeff Foster’s book Deep Acceptance is for me THE book on ending the search. Thanks for reading.

Jeff laughs because these questions are non sensical. They are someone else's questions for Adyashanti. If the questioner isn't bringing any of his own curiousity to Jeff, then Jeff is right to snort in his face. Why should he attempt to answer idle philisophical questions when the questioner is clearly not personally invested in receiving an answer ?
