One of the most talented quarterbacks in NFL history. George had amazing arm strength which few guys could match. Threw for over 27,000 yards and 154 touchdowns in his career. Moved on from one team to the next and only won a single playoff game in his career as well.

The play at 2:41 is really special. Twisted around, disrupted from his throwing platform, and throws sidearm about 35 yards. That's almost all shoulder and torso rotation with very little contribution from the hips, which is where most QBs generate their best power. That was the most impressive thing about George's throwing. He generated more power from his upper body than most QBs could with their entire body.

1:35 is an incredible throw. That is 60 yards in the air and the ball got there in a heartbeat. No time for anyone in the secondary to close on it. He stepped into that one.

Jeff George had a really quick release and a strong arm - very few QBs have had both - but he had beautiful arm mechanics. It was almost like a “stiff-arm” movement and he could just crank it. But he’s easily in my top-5 passers ever. It’s too bad he’s so under-appreciated because young QBs should watch him throw.
