there was nothing he could do, that was very good quick thinking. he was already doing the sucking candy impression, so when he was offered, if he rejected it would make goldblum look weird and bad, and it would make him look like a coward. so he took it, and didnt talk about it anymore, and it was a perfect comical comedic moment, he was very funny and cool for doing it, also very brave and fun, and after he took it he just chewed it down and swallowed it without spitting it out or giving it back or asking what to do with it because those would seem weird, awkward, or insecure, lacking confidence, or disoriented. conan's a genius, he's very good for being able to pull that off, if anyone else had been in that situation, me included, i would have denied it cowardly for fear of saliva exchange thus not looking fun, or at least ask what to do with it after or spit it out or give it back. i appreciate conan's stoicism so much for taking it and not even saying a thing about it after, it takes a lot of trained mind and willpower to be in complete control of yourself. very vry intelligent.
