I find it awesome that you can double flip and treflip on that setup. I bet the wider deck gives you more room to land on.

Thanks! I'm so thankful for wrist guards because if they didn't exist, I would probably never skate again. I'm for sure healed up. YES, even though it's a little more weight, I'm 6 foot 2 and 220 pounds so it balances out and I'm in love with wider/bigger decks because of the surface area for my feet and landing tricks!

I’ve always noticed Jeff Grosso model boards have crazy pop, an older gentleman came to my local skatepark with a Jeff Grosso Black Label toy blocks 9.5, I gave it a try and pop was INSANE.

I had to cut my bird lapper, you said yours was modded did you have to?

Yep I had to cut mine to fit the deck and angle of the trucks. I also cut it to be able to access my truck bolt better. What is good is since the lapper is a just thick plastic, I just used a small saw and it cuts pretty easy. I have currently moved away from a lapper though just to pinch pennys in my skate budget but they are period correct when buying/building late 70's/80's decks.

Deluxe woodshop makes the best skateboards, IMHO they seem to have the best kick ....I just bought an Anti Hero cause after looking around and also watching reviews everyone says the same thing "Awesome POP and solid wood feel" .
