I do, too....I think it it is really weird that the Mom did not call PD first........why the Hell would you call ANYONE ELSE BEFORE POLICE? It's like she was asking permission or asking "what do I do now?" CRAZY! And, If she really did not know where he was, the first thing that came to her mind is that she should have assumed, if he ran away, he would have gone to or called his Dad, Seth. She should have called Dad first.
