Jeff Hawkins BAAI Conference 2021: The Thousand Brains Theory

i have just read the book it is really inspiring. i can strongly feel that the next wave of AI will come within 5 yrs, based on Jeff's theory. i got my bachelor degree in automobile electronics 6 yrs ago, at that time i read Jeff's On Intelligence and How To Create A Mind by Ray Kurzweil which are mainly focus on hierarchical structures in neocortex. These two books changed my life and lead me into a CS master major in AI. Now i am a CV engineer working in Beijing, but most of my interest is still in AGI. Jeff's theory links some of ideas i had together into the thousand brain theory, now its time to get myself into a new direction. thank you so much for your inspiration.

wow I have almost the exact same story except instead of bachelors in auto electronics it was in aerospace engineering, instead of CV it was RL (still studying) and instead of Beijing it was Shenzhen. Everything else is exactly the same.
