Jeff and I were born in the same Toronto hospital , I guess we first met around the age of 18...... One of the nicestest kindest person I have ever known.... Humble, real, Music was a huge part of his life, but when he was in conversation with you, He was just Jeff.... Just this kind musician and his success was no big deal..... What a sweet human being..... I often think of him, and it humbles me, It influences me to put life into perspective..... Things like being a star, or being blind were just non existent to him.... Im very grateful.... Even when we spoke on the phone when he was sick, I had no idea..... It was never about him when we spoke..... I surely miss him..... Just speaking of him takes the outside stress of this world out of my head for a little while.... A great example on how to be..... That's Jeff! Love Ya Jeff!

@@cubnation Jeff has accomplished what every human being should strive for, and that is to reside in peoples, hearts even after you’ve moved on. I can truly say he lives in my heart. It blew my mind when he started playing the trumpet, I love how he had integrity, he never sold out, he always did what he loved, he truly lived his passion. He never compromise his journey. I knew Jeff before his fame, during, and when he was doing some smaller guest appearances for his friends bands. In so many ways, when I look back, it’s really hard to find the words to really describe How incredible of a person he was! I really really miss him. I missed the calm voice. Really positive, so honest, heartfelt yeah delivered all of this in such a gentle manner.

One idiot (as of October 3, 2018) didn't like this interview. I saw Jeff three times -- twice at a supper club called The Strand in Redondo Beach, CA (southern Los Angeles County) when his first album came out. Jeff had a deep speaking voice, and a wicked sense of humor. He was also very intelligent and articulate. On the second night, he had a surprise guest: Robbie Krieger of The Doors. The Strand was a small venue, and Jeff and his band were just a few feet away from the audience. I saw him again at the now-demolished Los Angeles Sports Arena when he opened for ZZ Top. Liike Stevie Ray Vaughn, he was so talented, and died far too young. I wish I could hear the music these two guitar greats are making now. R.I.P., Jeff. You are missed very, very much.
