Jeff’s collection is epic! The display is my favorite because it looks so clean and classy. But I totally get why he’s selling and he’s going to make some collectors very happy to add those pieces to their collection!

A museum is an amazing idea. These pieces are history and will continue to become more interesting to study as the years go on. It’s too bad that only a few individuales will be able to enjoy these pieces from here on out, but even more tragic that they will never be enjoyed together again. I’m not angry at his decision to sell his collection because after all, it was his collection, but as he said himself, his first desire was to display them in a museum for the world to see. I would’ve loved the opportunity to experience that. Best of luck to him and his family. I sure hope he doesn’t regret it.

Amazing collection! Sounds like he had a healthy mindset while collecting. You can never have everything, which makes it easier with time to realize that the joy was the hunt. I assume he will be keeping the toy his kid found. Nothing beats sentimental value. Best of luck with the auction!

This is awesome, especially the GI*Joe section. I’m 39 and have been collecting GI*Joe since 2007. But I’ve always and almost exclusively received GI*Joe as a kid when it came to Christmas, birthdays, Easter and just being at the supermarket with Grandma. They were only $4 back in the early 90’s! Now I have an entire room full of some of the rarest GI*Joes, from around the world even. I don’t do grading though. I love loose and complete. I have to be able to handle them and pose them, “play” with them. 😎👍🏼

i worked at kb toys in 2001, it was one of the outlets so only 8 workers. i tthink i was 21 at the time maybe? i was the personwho unloaded the entire truck and then priced everything alone. i spent a quarter of my check each week picking stuff off the truck i wanted. i got alot of he man 200x, and the blue collector series remakes of gi joes. also a bit of mcfarlane stuff. i loved it. i herniated a disc and never filed a complaint because back then youd get fired somehow if u filed a injury. i should of filed because even right now the same disc herniated 2 weeks ago and my bone is narrowing. since 2001 ive always had a toy room everywhere i lived with those same toys plus the ones i had as a kid. i had to quit for 10 yrs because i didnt have the space. but 4 yrs ago i bought a bigger house and went for the motu origins line. i set out to have the most mint collection of that line which was a mistake to say the least. if anyone collects mattel they know how damaged their cards are on their wwe and motu line. so i spend extra extra time and money finding the perfect figure. as soon as this line is done i am done for good. im out of room

Im exactly the same but not as extreme i do have alot though i branched out to ball pythons bc I was obsessed w/ reptiles bc that was another part of me a bigger part but i have so many huge bins filled with vintage in box star wars that i love plus a lot of 1994 to modern-day whatever struck me. This guy is kinda telling my story but i didnt go as far and he has the most amazing collection. Its funny in the reptile ball python world they call all of your snakes your collection ❤ . Sorry I don't know this guy's name but he is a straight up Star wars God he has everything the way everything is set up is like a dream come true It's almost like if you went to Alice in wonderland or something or like the wizard of Oz like this is like the it's like Star wars heaven I got nothing but respect for this man It's so cool like to be honest the way that he talks about him hanging out with his friend and like him going to get comics and him going to get Star wars My front kind of got me into Star wars back in the day I didn't have an older brother and like my mom didn't let me watch it type of stuff and then I ended up meeting him and like we just watch it together a lot and I got into it through him but I was like a natured nerd before that so I just fell back into reptiles but I do have a quite a horde of Star wars figures❤. I'm sorry I'm talking into my phone while being forced to change the channel I apologize I think you get the gist ❤ you style. I got a closet and under bed full of huge unopen toys bc I just thought the were so cool❤
