English fans and the media seriously need to wake up and get a reality check. Bellingham was voted Player of the Year in the Bundesliga and La Liga in back-to-back seasons at only 19 and 20. And he has a combined 37 goals and 20 assists in his past two seasons for Dortmund and Madrid. His attitude is precisely why he is so good. And it’s why he fits in so well at an elite club like Madrid. The English media and fans need to categorically get it through their heads that you need a team full of players with Bellingham’s attitude if you actually want to win a major tournament. You all seriously need to watch teams like Argentina and Real Madrid play much more often. Because their players are not only incredibly skillful but brash, arrogant, know the dark arts of the game, and have dog mentalities. This English aversion to “attitudes” needs to stop. Embrace it, own it, and get a team full of players with Bellingham’s mindset.

A lot of tap ins and didn’t actually control or run the games like people made him out to. The comparisons to zidane were embarrassing. He’s a decent player that’s all. He played as a striker too for some time at Madrid too which helped him score goals. There is nothing wrong with scoring tap ins and lots of goals but the problem with most fans who never saw him play properly is they thought he was some midfield magician who could dribble and pass etc and be like iniesta, xavi, zidane, etc when really he was never that guy and doesn’t have the skills or football brain to be that. He’s more of a goal scoring midfielder if that. The media have hyped him up its caused all this.

Bellingham is an outstanding player, you don't go to Madrid and have the season he had by luck. However, he always wants to be the center of attention which is fine as long as it is not hurting the team, he is absolutely exhausted after 30 minutes because he overdoes it trying to be the start of the show. Football is a team sport individuals won't win it we have had so many great talents in England's past but if you don't gel well as a team you won't win international tournaments. I hope he grows and learns he is instrumental to our team but needs to change his attitude in fact other teams have this issue too whereby certain "Superstar" players are holding them back. I think a lot of England fans thought he had an all around game as a 6 or an 8 and could control games and dictate play rather than just arriving in the box and popping up with moments. Doesn't seem to be anything more than a 10 at the moment. England need to start getting to grips with the game and that will require the likes of Jude and Rice to get on the ball and be brave, dictate and be the engine room for the side. Talking about 200+ million £ for them 2 alone and that should be able to do more than willingly turn over possession. Southgate going will hopefully help

It does appear all about Bellingham. He didn't have a good tournament as did his team mates. Yes we know he's a good player. His record to date highlights this. If I was an advisor to Bellingham I would today be saying to him. Chill. Just play. Stay grounded. Don't make any noise. Maybe then you will become one of the best. But there are red flags and enough to trigger a dislike.

There was nothing wrong with Bellinghams work ethic, if he looked uninspiring it was because of other reasons, team set up, end of season Blues. I think we could have got much more for our Bellingham playing him deeper along side rice and Mainoo. Obviously he can play a 10 at real Madrid, but then they have the best midfield and defense in the world. Southgate is right we have missed kalvin Philipps. Playing Bellingham as an 8 might have done a bit more to compensate for that. Being Stuck out on the left, meant we could not profit from ball winning aspect of his game from deeper positions. Think rice would have been much happier too.

The same English media have been proudly labelling him a future England captain all season and prior to the tournament. He scored the only goal in the opening game to help us top the group and scored a crucial equaliser in the knockouts to stop us going out early. And when he wasn’t scoring, he was still adding presence to the midfield. Why does there always need to be a villain. We went out because collectively, we weren’t good enough.

I don't mind confidence but if he wants to be the centre of attention then he needs to chill. He didn't single-handedly win Madrid the league or CL lol, from what I saw he stunk the place out at Madrid the last few months. Maybe, Bellingham and Foden, like Gerrard and Lampard, cannot play in the same team. Both good players but personally I would pick Foden and play a system built around him. Bellingham has an arrogant streak in him that will go against him. He seems to believe in all the hype around him and appears to play for himself. Sort it out and he will be a class player.
