Does not matter, every era there is one player who defies that prototypical player build. Wilt wasn’t just 7ft all. He was also extremely athletic, intelligent, lean but muscular who had fundamentals. Doesn’t matter the era. I can honestly say, Wilt would have been even better during the Modern NBA. Just like certain retired NBA players, played during a time when the skills they possessed weren’t the standard. Like if Reggie Miller played in this current NBA. White Chocolate in this era or Chris Bosh

@jeymeditation8298 you measure wilt because he had 0 to few peers, but what you can't do is day he old crush the future players and act like they wouldn't lock him. Wilts era of center was what, him. Russell and young Kareem. I am telling you right now that in my opinion, neither of those 3 are in the same league as Shaq, dream, Robinson Ewing. Physically, I think admiral would put wilt out to pasture, we underestimate just how big and good David was. Wilt only looks God tier because of who he played against. Same thing eith Michael Jordan. Jordan's peers at the 2 guard were pure ass in the 90s. He had 1 peer that was Clyde but that was a WIDE gap. But kobe, Iverson, dwade, tmac, air Canada, people overvalued Jordan because of those same reasons

How the hell is Tiger Woods (or any golfer for that matter) even in the discussion of top 'athlete' of all time? What's athletic about golf? You carry a bag over grass? There are gardeners that do that 6 days a week. Tiger may be successful but success doesn't equal athleticism. Tom Brady is the most successful QB of all time but at no point in his career was he considered the most athletic QB.

@@JP-rw5cd Your mistake is that you think I'm focusing on golf. This is a discussion of top athletes of all time. Not top athletes of their sport. Bo Jackson, Jim Thorp, Dion Sanders, and even Jim Brown (He would have played Lacross instead of football if they had a professional league) belong on this list because they exceled at multiple sports. That's the context of this discussion. When Tiger Woods branches out into other sports, you can include him in this conversation. Until then he's just good at golf. Also... If asked the question of who is more athletic Kobe Bryant or Steph Curry? What do you think the answer is going to be? And what do you think they are basing the answer on.... Explosiveness, strength, and speed.

Bo Jackson is my pick. However lemme mention Serena Williams. Her prime was so dominant.

Sanders is greatest corner ever. Bo Jackson number one. Dionne sanders two. Danny Ainge number three. All three played two professional sports.

Bo jackson & Danny Ainge without question. Not even close. Can throw Deion in there but Bo was different he had HOF potential in both. Was better at Baseball too .

Bo jackson by far. Pro Football. Hardest sport to play is baseball and he was a allstar. Could of won Olympic gold track and field.

The fact that Jackie Robinson or Willie mays weren’t even mentioned as greatest athletes is absurd, Jackie was a Tri-Sport in college
