About whether Jordan is "pro conversion therapy" - I think this is a statement that can be made. The three answers Jordan can give to Ethan asking if he is for conversion therapy is: yes, no, or a middle of the road type of answer. If you choose the center position (not really against it, not really for it), you are still part of the problem. Not making a choice does make a choice: a choice to keep norms in place. If you say you do not pick a side with homophobia, racism, etc. you are still perpetuating these horrible systemic issues. Conversion therapy is a form of intense homophobia. If you are for conversion therapy or "don't really care either way" - you are part of the problem. Jordan is pro-conversion therapy.

Jeff has only been into social media for the past 4 years or so. Prior to this, he settled every beef he had with violence. You guys have WILDLY different backgrounds when it comes to conflicts. It's not surprising that the guy who's been to jail 7 times won't settle his problems with lawsuits. It sucks that he burned that bridge with Ethan because it would've been great help for him to sue David. Also, what Cody did was awful and I hope he faces repercussions for threatening literal children. I think he went to the house in the morning on Jeff's behalf but not necessarily on Jeff's orders. These guys are like brothers. Cody probably saw the eye and brain jokes as a disrespect on Jeff and decided to be a creep about it.

This isn’t to excuse Jeff’s behavior at all, only to offer a possible explanation. I used to watch David’s vlogs and I know Jeff played up the criminal shtick, but him threatening Ethan like this is very alarming. It makes me wonder if his TBI + his mental health struggle is making him much more aggressive than normal. Because sending your friend to Ethan’s house over jokes is not normal behavior. A stable person would not handle a situation like that. So it makes me wonder if maybe he’s got some deeper issues going on we don’t see. I think Jeff needs a break from the internet and go away for a while. Do some self care. Go to therapy and work through this difficult emotions over David. I know those have to be eating him alive.

On the conversion therapy convo: on any partisan issue (this one seems like a no-brainer but what can you do?), I always find it eye opening how most people will comfortably declare "I'm not pro this" or "I don't support that" but when it comes to being ANTI something, that's an entirely different story. It's one thing to not support conversion therapy, it's another thing to be actively against it. As an LGBT American, I respect the hell out of Justin Trudeau for taking a step in the right direction for Canada's LGBT politics. It also bothered me how the caller framed something like conversion therapy as a non-issue and Trudeau should focus on "more important things." I've been arguing with people lately about how Biden should do something to help transgender people under attack from Republican state legislatures and the main counterargument has been "he needs to focus on more important things like inflation and the war in Ukraine." Yes, LGBT people are a minority, so any policy protecting (or, in the US these days, attacking) that community would be inherently targeted - that's the point. If it's a targeted policy, make it an abundantly pro LGBT policy. You can only play the center so much when people's lives and identities are on the line.

I think The Batman leaned much more into the psychology of Bruce Wayne/Batman than any previous iteration of the character we've seen on the big screen. The movie was definitely a detective story featuring Batman and not a superhero film. AB brought up some valid criticisms and shouldn't be getting shit on for it. Peace and love, peace and love

My main issue was I didn’t care about any of the characters. Had some other problems, but overall it was an OK movie. There is a big gap between the Christopher Nolan movies and this.

The people who hate on superhero films so hard are just mad they can’t enjoy simple fun that the masses can. Just let them enjoy their fun movies it doesn’t have to be Casablanca lol

@@b00psn00t I enjoy fun and silly movies but am not a big fan of superhero movies generally (or action movies in general tbh) and think they’re often boring. I don’t have an issue with other people enjoying them, but it does seem like there’s been constant big superhero movies coming out for many years now. I’ve seen a fair few because I’ve got family who are really into Marvel especially. I usually like the ones that have their own tone and aren’t relying heavily on overdone tropes from similar films or on constant generic action scenes (explosions, gun fights, etc with no twists or unique elements to them); the more superhero movies come out, the more boring and overdone I find a lot of superhero film tropes but that doesn’t mean I can’t like superhero films that break from that mould in some way. I also enjoy comedy in films, so the comedic ones tend to be the ones I enjoy more. I enjoyed Ant Man (and the sequel but I can’t really recall what happens in it), Captain Marvel, The Suicide Squad (not the first one that was just called “Suicide Squad” but the newer one was really good and enjoyable imo), and some others. I guess Big Hero 6 is a superhero movie too and I really liked that movie. If anything, I find the superhero movies I like less are the ones trying to take themselves too seriously. This all said I enjoyed the Cruella movie and have defended it so I apparently don’t have great taste in films regardless lol

I gotta say Ethan did remarkably well holding the conservative caller to his opinions. I withdraw love to see an H3 debate bro arc but then Hasan would dump his ass

I feel as though as a fellow Canadian I should remind the dude that called in that healthcare is a provincial jurisdiction so it, therefore, cannot be blamed solely on the prime minister

Literally. This is why I hate arguing with anti-vax Covid conspirators because they’re too stupid to even realize that health care is *provincial*. It’s so frustrating

Did anyone else notice that when they played that clip of Adin Ross, it sounded like he was responding to Dan? 😂 19:12 Dan: That’s a little weird. Adin: Nah that IS weird that’s what I’m saying bro.
