This choreo is their best tbh, also that hidden "Human Shadow Dance" with Leedo (2nd shadow, low tone) and Ravn (first shadow, high tone) rapping is my favorite killing part of all performances in RTK. They're also famous for making killing parts a lot more unique with choreo using shapes that are always elegant 💙 Thank you jeff for appreciating ONEUS. Hey Jeff, fun fact: Seoho (the member who did the high note) never intended to go another octave. It was just supposed to be a three octave note, but he was messing around in the studio and decided to go an octave higher. The producers loved it and told him to record it, and that's how it ended up in the song XD

ahh I'm so glad you reacted to Oneus. Also Come Back Home was my fave during RTK finale too but I could't tell if I was just really biased haha. So at 1:08 these vocals are by Hwanwoong, who is actually the group's main dancer. His expressions are incredible and (for me, someone who has very minimal knowledge of dance,) he seems to have incredible control and technique. He has a few dance covers on their youtube channel that are worth watching. Oneus also did a dance cover to "Dance Monkey" very recently and Hwanwoong has an incredible dance solo there, in my opinion. Definitely worth checking out. Basically I think he is one of the best 4th gen male dancers, but again, I am very biased. Haha. Also, he has been working so hard on his vocals these past years so it's nice to see him get praise for them! The red head vocalist that you were talking about at 2:20 and 5:34 with the high note, his name is Seoho and he is one of the 2 main vocalists in the group. Idk technical terms, but his voice is usually pretty breathy and airy. He has a few covers floating around and his voice sounds really nice in R&B songs. He can also rap (he had a rap verse in their RTK "Lit" stage), but I am digressing. At 3:16 , the guy with the deep voice is Leedo. He is one of their 2 main rappers. When he raps and talks his voice is pretty low. However, when he sings, his voice is lighter (see 1:13 and 5:11 leading up to Seoho's high note section !!!). At 3:28 that rap verse with that whisper is by their other main rapper, RAVN. He does some producing here and there on a few of their songs. He has some really great rap verses in their other tracks. If you choose to react to more Oneus in the future ( i hope you do!), they don't have an overwhelming amount of title tracks yet. A very brief description of their title tracks: "Valkyrie" is their debut track and it got a lot of interest. "Twilight" is pretty theatrical and that MV is filmed in Italy. "Lit" is probably the most iconic Oneus title track so far, it is heavily inspired by korean culture (you have probably seen or heard this performed on RTK already). "A Song Written Easily" is more of a summery break up song; the MV was filmed in New Zealand. Sorry, I'm not sure which of these are the most interesting in terms of choreo though. However, "Come Back Home" is starting a new concept arc for Oneus with this monarch and vampire theme. They will be having a comeback on August 19th continuing this concept, so keep an eye out for that too, if it's something that might be of interest for you! Thanks for reading all of this if you made it this far. Oneus is one of my Ult groups and I like to gush about them especially since they still seem under-appreciated, in my biased opinion, lol. But hopefully this info was helpful for someone!

I have been thinking a lot about why the term "octave" had been bothering me a bit in your previous videos as well as in this one and after a little investigation i finally found out why. I am no music expert by any means so it took me a while to pin point the "issue" here since in addition to me being no expert my musical hearing abilities are not the best and i dropped music class 2 years ago so i am also a bit rusty when it comes to special terms but i got it now! So let me break the high note sequence down (it's about to get a little technical and nerdy here but bear with me): essentially what seoho does he builds an A-Major (A-C#-E) chord. But Jeff is not necessarily wrong when he says he goes up an octave because seoho starts on a low E (fifth) goes to A (root note) to C# (major third) and a higher E (fifth) which is an octave because there are eight notes from E to E (simple definition of an octave: an interval of eight notes or jumps between the same notes). From low E to A is not an octave it's a forth (5 semitones in between or including E an A there are 4 notes in total) from A to C# is a major third with 4 semitones in between and from A to E is a fifth with 7 semitones or from C# to E is a minor third with 3 semitones which is the basic theory behind building a chord. I hope this helped clear some things up even though I know this is very theoretical and hard to understand if you don't know a thing about music but I hope it at least helps Jeff a bit because I felt like he sounded a bit confused when he talked about the high notes and i felt he had a bit of difficulty expressing what he meant. I am sure he meant the right thing he even said himself he wasn't sure if it was the right term. I do remember my classical singing teacher saying that a good singer has a range of maybe a bit more than 2 octaves, so i don't know if it's even possible to do jumps up to 4 octaves bc that would be really high (as reference a piano has seven octaves). I still do believe seoho is an amazing singer tho even if he can't do that (also the E he did is already pretty high register i would say). ANYWAYS I really do enjoy watching your videos Jeff and I am learning a lot from you and start seeing things differently since I dance myself. I love Jeff's honest reactions and his genuine way of giving constructive criticism but as well as his praising! (I hope I didn't make that many mistakes regarding the music jargon as well as English since English is not my first language. Either way I wanted to talk about this because it had been bothering me (not in a bad way I was just curious) and I wanted to know what really was going on since I myself wasn't able to put it in words at first!)

I love them so much and I'm so proud of them because this is easily THE MOST EPIC MV for me this whole year, especially because I haven't seen Road to Kingdom yet so I hadn't heard the song/seen the choreo until the MV dropped and it just overwhelmed me it's beautiful. An octave consist of 12 notes I think (not sure) but Seoho’s beautiful high note is just a Four Step High Note. If it were an octave, the highest note is E5 i think. If it is E5, he would start from E2. E2->E3->E4->E5 is a 4 octave note

I got to know oneus from RTK, and they were the group that had me repeatedly mad at the scoring. They should have ranked higher almost every time.. even higher than the groups that I went into the show knowing and had bias towards like pentagon. A few times, oneus just did better and ended up with the lowest ranking. >___< Hwanwoong became an ult wrecker for me in just this super short time. I love this group a lot.

The four octave high note Seoho did was actually a joke he did in the sound studio and they decided it sounded better than the original three octave so they decided to keep it.
