What a great catch 12 pounds on a 25.00 rod n reel from Walmart 😃 I just really enjoy watching all your content and admire your lifestyle living off the land as hunting and fishing enthusiasts. Also how exercising regularly, been active and healthy eating reflects on how great you both look. What a fantastic father figure, I didn't have that growing up. Thankyou Jeff and Hannah for sharing your lives it really helps with my depression and makes me smile, laugh and inspires me to manage my own life. So from me and on behalf of little tiny New Zealand we appreciate you both 🌿🏵️🦎🌺🦀🌊🐟🐾🍒

That liked to kilt me! I wasn't hungry before I ran across this. Well, hurricane Debbie has just about passed through my area in North Carolina so it want do me no good to try and wet a hook for a good while arounf hear anyways but I am inspired! I've never had stripper. Years ago one of my old fishing pards hooked one at High Rock Lake during the fall crappie season. He had a crappie on when I pulled up in my boat. I saw one of his fishing rods sliding across the sand and jumped out of my boat and grabbed it. I caught a 12 pounder on a crappie set up and 6 pound line. Its the only one I've ever caught. I took him home amd he kept all the fish. I asked him the next Monday as we worked together if he ate them over the weekend and He said, "I dont eat no damn fish! Gave them to my Neighbors." That sorry sucker. I've ate my weight in catfish and crappie and about anything you can catch out of the ocean many times over but never a Stripper. Aint that something? I catch the fish and take that clown home and he gave my fish to someone else. Well DAGGONE! Now i'm hungry and I don't even know what I'm missing. DAGGONE!

I've caught just about every salt water species of fish on the east coast of the USA and Striped Bass aka Rock fish is my favorite. White mild tasting flaky fish, easy to clean, fantastic on the grill with the skin on. Glad to see that Hannah didn't like the fish, she loved the fish. Same for Jeff's mom. Paige, you've got a hit there.

Hey Jeff, there's way to much talent in you. Just kidding. Seems that no matter what you are doing, it turns out to be fantastic. Everytime you build anything it turns out awesome. Everytime you cook, it looks delicious. I would say if you ever had down time, write a country cookbook. The only problem with that would be, you never measure anything. It's always by eye. Anyway, love you, love your channel, love Hannah, Paige, and all your videos. Take care and be safe.

I know you have blues and these monster catfish but the first striper I ever caught was 54” in Lineken Bay up here in Maine. Needed both hands to get the tail off the ground and damn the fight !!! Ruined me from any other fishing for at least 10 years !! Mackerel was gold here and they were dead frozen mackerel to boot ! Ate that first one but after that it was about that fight ! Take care care Jeff and Paige
