The team is 3-5 with a tough schedule so they’re not going anywhere. Playing Cooper makes no sense. Roll with Lance so you can see him in real games. If he’s decent he can stick around or you can trade him in the offseason.

Imo its early for draft talk. With that said, looking at the schedule, there are 2 games the Cowboys would be favored to win in the Giants and Panthers. So for all intents and purposes the season is over. Especially the way they're playing. Same issues almost every week. The Cowboys are not consistent enough in blocking, tackling and limiting mistakes (penalties and turnovers). Difficulties in the basics, like running the ball or stopping the run. Can't get the ball downfield in the passing game, etc! Huge injuries this year, especially on defense. Considering how the team is run the past several years with basically a heavy philosophy of draft and develop and not sign a lot of top free agents, I see more of the same unless there is more change. I feel like management needs to hire a real GM and shut up!

You guys forget how Jerry thinks. You don't need to spend your picks to move back into the 4th round. The past few years. The cowboys picked in the 20. But would move back a few spots. To pick later in the 1 or second round. And get a pick later in the draft like in the 4th or 5th. For letting teams move up ahead of them. The new WR doesn't both me. And you think cowboys lost a pick in the 4th. But wait til the draft starts. Jerry will trade his pick at 8 in the first round. To a team needing a QB or something. And Jerry will get a 4th and 2 in the 7th or something. Cause it seems every year now. We traded our spot. To move back a few. But we pick up more picks later in the draft. Didn't they trade one year. And have like 4 picks in the 4 or 5 round or something like that.
