Great set of 3 probing videos. I just received my probe yesterday to use in my 4 axis Syil X7. Also watched some of your Fusion videos, will definitely check out all of them. Very much liked your video presentation and clarity. Looking forward to more of them, especially Fusion CAD work, that’s my weakness.

Thanks for watching! You modeling products, or are you more interested in fixtures or from a print? Let us know!

@@ChipMonkeys hi, finally managed to get my probe working, I needed to change some MD numbers to recognise the probe is alway on, rather than needing a M-Code to turn it on. So I’m just making parts for myself that I design in Fusion, plus I do a few parts here and there for local companies. It’s not my day job, but bought the X7 as a semi retirement plan, so I can earn while working from home. Love your cam videos, please do more of these.

Cool Thanks for taking the time to do this! I'd love to see you review a few of the other probe cycles inside of fusion if you get the chance!

We will drop these videos every Wednesday 5pm. If they are getting watched. : ) Thanks for watching!

Great that you are diving into this. I have never used probing from within Fusion 360 because I’ve never been been sure how fusion will know where the material is in the machine to start probing. Do you have to probe with the machine first so you can probe with fusion? Hoping your next videos will explain exactly this. 🤞

Hey Jim. Thanks for the comment. Once you probe your part As usual, then you can use the probing operations in Fusion. They are base on where you set your Zero. Here is the section of the video that talks about that. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWiyaZ2OeLacbac

Nice vid. 2:35 Why don’t you use the break tool check box in the tool library rather than manual NC way? I prefer this way for tools I always want to check. I have all my small taps set with this on.

Hey Matt! Thanks for the excellent suggestion! Personally, I rarely run production. I only use this option when I’m going inside for the night and running a long program in steel. I can probably bring that out in another video. Thanks again for your comment!

Cool video. Good to see you on KZbin again. They dropped the 360 part of the name now and it’s just Fusion :)

Honestly, that makes sense. We have been calling it that all along. Thanks for the Heads up, Kevin!

Man your vids are really good....I hope you keep making more....I have a couple hobby CNC mills in the garage shop and run a 5 axis mazak at work, but still dig your content. Keep it up! 👍🏻🍻

Thanks Nathan! We hope we can keep making these. We need more educational videos showing how to do what we do. Thanks for supporting the channel.
