For 53 years I've listened to this song not knowing what Cassidy was playing, although what little I could discern told me something great was going on. Thanks for letting my ears finally make sense of it!

This is the first song i learned all the way through in 1967. It's the only song my bass teachet taught me. It took lots of lessons on Saturday mornings.

Mindblowing!! So funky, the bass is really underrated in this song

I think this is the best rendition so far! Cassidy was incredibly irregular, which made his lines so damn cool. I'm convinced I hear something different on some parts though, but it's not really relevant for the feeling. Good job! I'm a guitar player, but I'm gonna try to make my interpretation soon, since I have to play bass on this in my band. It would be interesting if you could give feedback when I'm done. Obviously my bass technique is till in development. Rock on!

Thanks man! I've loved this style of bass playing for years, but have fallen short of being able to play it. The syncopation is a little different and while I've always heard the chromatic lines, your transcription finally makes sense! Totally thanks for a tutorial into the Cassidy fluid lines!

Thank you. I had to stop by a few other videos that were too busy. It's a movin' part, but it wasn't played by Les Claypool.

Great playing! I love ur Bass! But I love every Fender Jazz Bass that I see...maybe it's notta Fender Jazz Bass? Maybe it's a Mike Lull or a Marcus Miller Jazz. I hav a Custom Fender "Adam Clayton" Jazz Bass. I hadta buy a green Bass, so BOOM! Adam Clayton Jazz Bass it is!!! Bless u brutha, dUg-

Bass is all over the place which is cool but I play the song basic like if AC/DC was covering the song lol
