When I married I moved to a very small town in Northern Ontario Canada. The only bar had karaoke night once a week. The only song in 3,000 I knew was the white rabbit... Everytime I sang it the entire bar froze, no one moved, drank, shot pool or spoke until it was over, no one clapped either...it was like they were zll having their own personal flashback to 1969... I love this song. It's one of my all time favorites, I can hit every note. I'm far better at imitating Stevie nicks but I have mad respect for Grace slick

This is brilliant, everyone needs to read "Go Ask Alice" which was a young woman's journal of how she got into drugs in the 70s. I unintentionally wrote my own version of that in 2007 at age 17 when I journaled daily, about 5 composition notebooks stacked up accounting how I got into heroin and speed to please a "cool guy" I was into at that time. Thank God I was able to get out of this without overdosing unlike dear Alice.

have you actually listened to Bolero, Antionio - White Rabbit was not ripped off but inspired by Bolero - Grace Slick in an interview: "I heard Ravel’s Bolero on the radio and it surprised the hell out of me. I love Spanish music and I’m inspired by things irrespective of how popular they are. Bolero starts off with a couple of instruments and then more are added. It feels like how an orgasm is built. My song also built in that same way." more importantly, Bolero is in the key of C and White Rabbit is in F#, so there's another reason why it couldn't possibly be a ripoff.
