Loss of smell or taste is a signature symptom of COVID-19. According to Dr. David Rosen from Jefferson Health, it’s a result of damage to the nasal lining. The good news is that your sense of smell can come back. If not on its own, patients can try smell retraining, steroids, supplements, or something more aggressive. Dr. Rosen explains.
