Jefferson Starship had such a variety of great quality styles with 2 incredible lead and backup singers. Great harmonizing as well! St. Charles may be their absolute best as this form of the band!if you did not know it that is The. Late great legendary voice of Marty Balin, who along with Grace Slick were both members of Jefferson Airplane.

Marty on lead vocal, Paul and Grace background vocals - the three of them together have always been magic, as is this song. Oft times overlooked but a true gem from the early days of JS.

This is Marty Balin on lead vocals. Ride The Tiger was sung by Paul Kantner. One thing about Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship is they have several singers including Grace Slick.

I am sooooo glad someone is finally doing something from ja/js besides White Rabbit. Paul Kantner is the person behind the sound and there is a large catalog there. But since you are on this track may I suggest Hyperdrive and All Fly Away which are also off the Dragonfly album.

Marty Balin lead vocals on "Caroline". Marty was also a singer song writer and founding member of Jefferson Airplane 1966. Check out Jefferson Airplane songs written and performed by Marty Balin titled " Today " and a song titled "Comin. Back to Me"

Marty had a much better song with the Airplane, Plastic Fantastic Lover. Of course his big claim to fame was Miracles. Similar songs to Miracles are Count on Me and Runaway.

The only song I really like on this album is Grace Slick's "Hyperdrive". Marty did love ballads, Paul did political/science fiction and Grace did political/psychedelia.
