Thank you so much This is the first lay down I saw that I believe is done both ethically and in the best interest of this animal. Very well done. Amazing change and no signs of Jefrey giving up hope or faith in human interaction. Good call!

Man how I have enjoyed your mule quest. I would swear I own the twin to your mule. He acts just like Geoffrey. Nervous, jumpy, and then just fine and then back to untouchable. This shows there is hope for him getting better

I've never did this myself. I have always been told it will work. It is interesting to see the change after

Nice.....he is so much better than he was. He just didn't seem to have any trust that the new things weren't going to hurt him. I think he has let his mind let you be the leader now. I'm sure you are going to be able to ride him like any other colt (or bison!) you've trained. My one concern about Jeffrey is he now trusts YOU. He's not explosive like he was. But who are you going to let be the guinea pig that tries to mess with him. I wonder if he's going to be a one man mule. That does happen. My Dad's horse was like that with other people. He was ok with our family he didn't do anything with us kids or even when we were teens but other people he didn't care for he would find a way to ditch them and go back home. He really loved my Dad and he was my Dad's heart horse. He came from out west on a rail car and my Dad saw an older guy loading him up and followed him home wanting to buy him he wouldn't sell but he finally did after the old man got sick of his actions and shot him in the ass. Red had buckshot work out of his backside for years. He was a good horse. Dad had him 26 years. I hope Jeffrey gets it that not everybody is out to kill him but if he doesn't I hope you keep him for his forever home. Love you Joel love to watch you work. Keep up the good work with him. I think if anyone can get through to him it's you and your quite calm manner. ❤

As a mule rider and horse .. I feel mules learn but thinking …a horse learns by reputation
