My name is Jeffery Oteng Afriyie, a second-year Physics student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). In addition to my studies, I possess skills in photography, videography, video and picture editing, and graphic design. I have taken on leadership roles, such as script analyst for ARSRC and I am a member of APEC. These experiences have enhanced my leadership and organizational skills.
I am applying to the Kufuor Scholars Program to further develop my leadership abilities and contribute meaningfully to society. I am particularly passionate about addressing the mental health challenges faced by tertiary students, which is the focus of the topic I would like to present on. I believe that through the Kufuor Scholars Program, I can gain the skills and mentorship needed to advocate for better mental health awareness and solutions for students in Ghana.
