I bought one over a year ago and it's works very well. The channels are in HD. The catch is the placement of the antenna. I placed the antenna very high up and the reception is great.

I bought an antenna for $5 at the Five and Below store. I got between 20-25 channels. I do have to move the antenna some, but over all it was well worth $5. I live about 35-40 from two major cities.

I got 60 channels. I bought it cause my cable went out. It was worth the price. Now I can still watch tv if my cable is out again! However, some of the channels were duplicates. I’d say all together I got about 45 distinct channels. I live on a hill in Spokane Wa, and most of the tv towers are within 10 miles.

My mother picked this antenna up for around $5 and it works just as good as a $20 onn antenna. I get exactly the same number of channels in fact with the clear tv antenna I get literally no pixelation. Definitely happy with the clear tv.

Hi yes I have used the clear TV Black box it is an amplified antenna and I get about 33 channels so far with it . I have to have an amplifier where I live because there's trees in the way all over the place near my apartment where I'm currently living so the trees like the block out the signal so an amplifier is what I need to have. Give it a try try out the clear TV Black box amplified antenna and see how many channels you can get with it.

I had a few crappy antennas before. Bunny Ear Antennas suck but they pick up VHF channels. In my area there’s one big channel I miss out on with a flat panel antenna and that’s 6abc WPVI. Bunny ear antennas have to be positioned just right. I just recently bought an Antop Antenna with VHF enhancement rods that picks up vhf/uhf that works perfectly and not annoying like bunny ear antennas.

I would never mess with an indoor antenna. An outdoor antenna is the only way to go if you want more channels and clearer resolution.

You get what you pay for. I purchased it after a recommendation by a friend but I was not happy with it but then if you get even 5 channels for $10 it’s still not bad. I got 20... all blurry and fuzzy. I finally recieved my new mohu curve 50 antenna for like $65.00 and I ended up getting 59 channels all in HD quality. Now that is when you actually want to cut the cable. $10 to $65 is a big jump but then you really pay once and then cut the cable.

Jeff reviews4u: I got all the channels that Mohu Curve packaging box claims. They have these channel logos on the box. I got all of them. The basic local popular ones. I also got 5 music channels too and surprisingly it detected whole bunch of channels from New Jersey even though I live in New York. The funny thing is I got few movie channels that I did not expect ... not to mention it is for the basement TV. The antenna is placed underground. I don’t know if it is the antenna or the location but it’s worth it for me at least. I would say out of 59 channels it detected, I would trash 12 channels that are in other languages but the rest is enjoyable as you flip through them like a cable TV. I also like the design of the device, it blends in with my white furniture. The antenna runs through wall-power or USB. A good day to install, lot of Saturday movies today. You should definitely try it out for the sake of trial and error reasons.

These antennas are fickle. Location is important but also structure of the house is important. A lot a variables. I only got a handful of channels I'd watch. Roku would get you more. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I'm not convinced by the "4K" capabilities that were noted on the package (Though you didn't mention "4k", I saw it), as no TV stations broadcast 4K OTA signals yet. I didn't purchase it, but the size of it really makes me question its VHF frequency capabilities, as VHF signals require a longer rod. It probably preforms as well as sticking a paperclip into a coaxial jack. Also, the advertisements are over exaggerating its capabilities. Rabbit ears would probably preform better. Anyhow, buyer beware. It really depends on your location to transmitter towers.

I recommend the Onn Easy Adjust Antenna. I pull in 30 stations from 20-50 miles away from South Central Kentucky and Nashville, Tennessee. It’s $8.99 at Walmart.

Also, take a paperclip and bend it straight out. Wrap aluminum foil on the end to increase the length. I pull 10 channels with it on another T.V. Just remember, antennas are just pieces of metal cut different to pick up VHF (RF 2-13) or UHF (14-36) channels. There’s no such thing as “HD frequencies”. UHF needs an antenna that is 4 inches to a foot long. High VHF needs an antenna that is 1.3 feet to 3 feet long. Low VHF needs an antenna that is 6-10 feet long.

We have 30 Apartments off of the old analog antennas that's been on the building since the 80s I get 37 channels plus the ones that you said you got. On those cheap antennas that you're talking about right there I get three channels and I never pay for cable because I'm not going to pay to watch reruns. But I also have a DVD player and I have 3,000 movies that exclude TV

Does this still matter in 2020? There is so much free streaming content that I never watch OTA. I watch a movie once or twice a week and that is it. I'm usually on KZbin learning new things.

I can get 21 channels (75 total subchannels) with an old cheap rca ant111 that looks like the old rabbit ear antennas with the long vhf parts and circular uhf part. But I have to stick at least one rabbit ear out the window to get ny channel 11 which is still vhf. Reception is always going to be better outside with bigger antennas. You only need an amp with long cables. I learned a lot from Antenna Man on KZbin. I've heard him recommend the clearstream2max which has the long vhf elements for indoors, but outdoors is always better. And an rg6 quad shield cable.

A lot of these antenna work it has a lot to do with placement the closer you put it to the window the more channels and cleaner picture. I have one that's just a flat piece of plastic I gave$12 for it and I get 34 channels and sometimes the picture starts going in and out all I have to do is move the antenna just a little and it clears up but I do live in a major city (Nashville TN so I'm sure that helps

I still can't get channel 7 or 7.2 or the rest of the sevens and my friend who lives a mile away gets them I don't understand what the deal is. It's not like they're cable channels. I did buy mine today and everything looks perfectly clear. I'm not sure about channels that have been added or taken away. I just can't see that channel I was talking about. I guess I was hoping to see how high up you install the antenna I put mine on top of the TV but I'm wondering if I should have put it fire up like on the wall or something.

I use a generic rabbit ear antenna. I get about 15 channels. 3 Local news channels, a bunch of religion channels and 3 PBS channels. Sadly, most days at least 1/2 of those channels aren’t clear. HD look but jumpy/freeze/skip picture and sound, even during perfect weather.

I bet if you found a good old fashioned bunny ears at a yard sale they would do better than both of those. Sounds like you hadn't done a channel scan in a while and ion added some extra sub-channels. Remember with the digital transition brought abstraction layers.

What I get from the commercial is that it is NOT a replacement for cable. You will only get NETWORK channels in 4k. Thats it. Commercials are misleading as hell

I use the RCA 4K antenna. I get between 45-60 channels. I loved it so much I had to purchase an additional for my bedroom. You can also download the RCA app that shows you where to place the antenna for better picture quality and more channels.

You can make a better antenna with coat hangers, copper wire, screws, washers, a 75 to 300 ohm transformer (coax to 2-wires) and a piece of wood.

HOW DO YOU GET THAT TO WORK ON A REGULAR STANDARD TV

The problem is not how many channels you receive in your particular area, but quality of the picture. Pixilation, that what kills the viewing experience. Good picture, pixilation, drop in sound, good picture, pixilation, drop in sound routine. Sound familiar? We break away from Cable TV, but then we run into this... Comment please if you in New York City area and actually have this product and your experience with it. Thanks.

If your close enough to the towers, the quality is the same whether you use a paper clip or a $200 Antenna. The only difference is you'll get way more channels. If you get blur or choppy picture it's because it's just not strong enough to pull the channel in properly. No such thing as a HD or a 4k antenna. Its just a gimmick.

I just purchased one two days ago. Here is a trick I learned. When I first connected the antenna and did the search I got my normal 24 to 25 channels but much clearer. I went into my TV settings and reset my system i now get 37. I live in Baltimore city and can now pull in DC

I havent tried a paperclip but I've heard a coaxial cable works too.
