In this video, renowned open access activist and critic of predatory publishing, Jeffrey Beall, throws light on some of the malpractices that predatory publishers engage in, such as creating fake impact factors and copying pages from legitimate journals, and the various strategies they use to lure authors. Beall also shares his views on where open access is headed and how the menace of publishing fraud can be dealt with.
