For all he has accomplished my personal favourite moment is the visit to the 2017 ama national when he was fastest lap and double race wins. until a current top ama champ does that on the GP circuit, he's the man. 😊

Herlings is the most determined rider I’ve ever seen! To come back from all the injuries and bad luck he’s had, is simply incredible! These videos about the journey of his career are inspiring and really entertaining. I want more of them! The fastest man ever to ride a motocross bike!

I also remember JH riding 85cc fuul gas's all the way around. To this day I think he is still the only one who ever fully jumped the big table jump in Boekel with a 85 cc.

Ita taken a few years but i have to say hes become my favourite rider in MXGP. When hes at 100% health hes as good as anyone in the world on hard pack tracks but hands down is the best sand rider ive ever seen swing a leg over a bike, period... And to think of all the adversity hes faced and injuries hes had to endure yet can make hes way back to the front is mind blowing... he may never win 10 world titles, but a prime Stefan Everts would be no match for The Bullet

I would like to see Herlings on a different bike and team. I wonder if he could still be champion and at the same pace. It's like what Rossi did was on Handa for 4yrs and changed to Yamaha and still won the world title 2004. And said a champion is tested by change.

They should have put Kay de Wolf at ktm as well. You can still see that the bond between herlings and ruben has not been broken, Ruben was always the anchor for jeffrey. Both drivers can benefit from that

Would Stefan Everts have won 10 world championship if Greg Albertyn and Sebastian Tortelli had stayed in the mxgp series instead of leaving for America to race? They both won world titles racing Stefan. Stefan is still a graceful, great smooth style world champion who deservedly won world titles.

As far as i can remember Jeffrey always had #84. Hence my question, maybe it was a one time because he signed up too late and the #84 was already taken by another rider that day

@@xSCHEF #259 was James Stewart old number back when he raced in the 125cc class, James Stewart was an American rider who won 2 AMA Supercross Titles (2007 and 2009) and a AMA Motocross 450 title in 2008, in his prime, he was considered the fastest Man on Motocross bike, his racing style was like Jeffrey, he either wins the race or he doesn't finish the race. He won 50 AMA Supercross races (3rd all time) and in 2008 he won the AMA Motocross title winning every single race, he was undefeated that season, only Ricky Carmichael and him have been able to go undeafeated in a AMA MX championship

Qualy race Herlings wins and Tomac finishing on more than a minute , Moto 1Tomac has the holeshot and wins, Herlings from about 15th place to second on less than 10 seconds from Tomac. Second moto at the end of lap 1 Tomac was within half a second behind Herlings and at the end of that same moto he was 29 seconds !! behind the winner named Jeffrey Herlings . What make it so difficult for you to understand ??

RC on a recent 2/4 podcast said that guys today are going faster than they did in his time. RV said speed was similar to his time but bikes are now even easier to ride. Fun to bench race but hard to compare. Herlings Vs ET Vs RC Vs RV Vs JS7 Vs Everts - we can but dream..
