I loved this one. Starting with humming and progressing slowly, having a short pause, having some fun variations, and the last one where we sing the same note over the beautiful progression. Thank you Jeff!!

Thanks Jeff! I love the way you say " So Cool" near the end. I know the phrase has a different meaning but it's pushing 40C. in London. Still enjoyed and completed the "warm-up" though.

Balance! Balance is the key to projection. If you keep doing the videos, and focus on the physical experience of singing, look for a balanced even phonation to your sound. It should be consistent throughout your range. That will be your key to projection. Jeff

That feels great! Early days, but I might just have to change my name to ChoralBass 😉 Can’t wait for the Baritenor and Tenor versions to change my mind again. Thank you, Jeff 🙏

I love these warm ups. Usually afterwards I practice pitch matching on my phone app or singing from sheet music. What do you suggest we practice after your warm up videos? Thank you for teaching and sharing these videos.

Hi Jeff, just found your channel. Good stuff here. What’s the significance of the “wee, wee, wee” exercise? Trying to understand what that is working vocally. Thank you!!!

Am I allowed to post on a baritone warmup? Have a question. Athletes vary the intensity of their practice and conditioning workouts. For example there is off season practice and conditioning and what is done during the season. Some work in cycles and some have heavy and light days...usually the first practice after a game is a light practice...and so on. What about singing workouts? Do you know any singers or teachers who recommend something similar? Maybe a day of upper register work followed by a cool down day and then resumption of mainly chest and passaggio work, for example? Maybe a difference in what you do between gigs and what you do on a road trip or tour? Perhaps more an issue for unamplified singers but just wondering. PS. not only do baritones have such rich tones, they get down so low!

Not sure of my voice type, but I find this warmup harder than the Tenor Warmup starting that low on the hum
