So you are afraid, and with good reason. Your problem is that people now can find out for themselves what JW is really like. I thought it was just a bit crazy before, but now I know it's an evil cult that controls, harasses and emotionally abuses its members and protects child abusers with hypocritical excuses. When people compare information from respected news outlets and countless testimonies of former members with your JW propaganda, do you really believe you can convince them?? I was raised JW, and although there are some positive things that I got from the experience, it was for the most part a huge source of stress for me. From as long as I can remember I was battling with trying to do what I was told and "fitting in" but never really feeling like I belong. I was baptized at 11 years old (because it was the next logical step and to make my parents happy), but i lived a double life. Since I wasnt allowed friends outside of the congregation (worldly people), i made the most out of my time at school and always had girlfriends and was a very social outgoing kid, one who acted and talked extremely different from the way I acted at home. I started sneaking out at night as a ways to rebel without getting caught and in that started my downfall. I was disfellowshipped at 15 for having premarital sex. (One of my "friends" from the congregation who heard through a classmate snitched me out to the elders. ) I was shunned AS A CHILD. Obviously I lived with my parents so I had to attend meetings and I "played the part" so I was let back in. But my heart wasn't in it, and eventually at 18 I was disfellowshipped again for the same thing. Now at that age since I was legally an adult, I had to either change my ways and accept the "truth" 100%, or I had to leave my home. I knew I would never be able to fit in, and I felt hated by the congregation everytime I attended, so i left home and moved in with a girl I barely knew. I had never been trained in the ways of the real world. I wasn't ever encouraged to pursue a career or get a job, since as long as I was doing good in the congregation everything would be handed to me. It was a hell of a wake up call. I didn't choose my friends well, and the stress of knowing I could never have my family back led me to drug use. I ended up going to prison for two years. Now I don't blame the organization for my poor choices, but I wasn't taught how to be an adult in the real world. I was taught to be a sheep. To do what I'm told by the elders and be happy about it. I'm still trying to put my life back together, and I still deal with always feeling like a constant failure, no matter how good I'm doing. Because even if I was a millionaire, in the eyes of the congregation and my parents it wouldn't mean anything. I would still be a disappointment. aand that's what hurts the worst. I am now pursuing an interest in music (check my channel 😊) and am a talented rapper, but its like I can never put 100% into it because of the way I was brainwashed to feel about things llike that. Its a painful and stressful thing to deal with, and I hope people watch these videos and help other young kids dealing with the same situation to free themselves from this organization.

So sorry you went thru that. My best friends husband grew up in that cult too, and he is pretty messed up. I will tell you they do not follow the true and living God and what they do with Jesus is the error to their ways. They are purely religious doing good works to get to God, which is also the error in their ways. We can do No good works to get to God. The only way to God is thru the Son, Jesus Christ who perfectly lived this human life (which we could never live) so that he could be that perfect substitutionary sacrifice for our sin. Jesus literally became sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Jesus literally took our place, so that if we are in Christ we are looked at just as if we never sinned. Do we sin as Christians? Yes! But we dont continue in it. When we sin we repent and God helps us get back up again. There is nothing good or bad that we can do to make God love us any less then He already does. And no good work can make us good enough, that to me is a smack in the face of God, for He sent His only begotten son to die for us who believes in Him so that we would not perish but have everlasting life, so for us to say we have to do more and more and more for Jehovah is basically saying what Jesus did on the cross is not good enough... When God said it was!! That is the difference between religion and having a real relationship with God. Religion pumps up your ego and makes you feel better about yourself because YOUR doing good works...But a relationship with God thru Jesus is having full dependence on Jesus and what He has done for us. We understand that it had NOTHING to do with us and ANYTHING good we do is because God has given us the will and the want to do it. It all comes from Him!! I know talking about God to you may be offensive because of how brainwashed you become when you in that cult. But the truth is there is only one TRUTH! And the Bible says that you will find God if you search for Him with your whole heart and I believe He is the only one who can make you whole. So if you want to know Him, ask Him to reveal Himself to you!! God bless you!!

I was visiting Sydney Bethal about 30 years ago and one of the young Bethal sisters was brimming over with excitetment - she told me that the Society was sending her and her husband to university to become lawyers. I went away perplexed....first, why was I stopped from studying medicine (the greatest regret of MY life!) And, secondly, why did the WT need lawyers? I put it down to all the property and money endowed to the Society. Now, I realise, they were already starting to foresee the legal problems coming their way!

After 15 years 'serving' this corporation via pioneering and giving Sunday talks, I'm free. All of your videos are spot on, as they're not only informative, but they're also accurate based upon facts. I don't blame the 'rank & file' witness, as they're just blinded by the lies and WT bureaucracy, as we were. My mother before she passed away was a Witness for over 25 years. However when she got sick with dementia only a few friends stayed on touch. The other shyed away because she lived with me and I am not in the truth. At 17 I knew this wasn't for me. My thing always was they have millions of elderly friends but this organization didn't offer zero help for these friends for things like elderly day care or transportation for those to get back and forth to their meetings. I took her a few times but she wasn't following along and I definitely wasn't. So that ended. I came to realize she wasn't contributing to the box in the back with her $ so who cares. So sad. I have stories of my own and my mother's dealing with this cult

My situation was similar. They claim to love each other and call each other brother and sister but since my mother hadn't turned in time in years due to her work schedule and then she got sick I think they put her in the inactive status. I could of used their help taking care of her. That just proves that it's all about money. If you're not turning in time or giving them donations they could care less about your personal problems.

@@vanessah4545 Same with my mother same story. But thank God my mother started to listen to Christian radio and I started to take her to my Christian church and she loved it. Got saved and was going g for 10 more years to church died at 91. Very happy she was . I saw the change in her. She was a JW for 35 years. She was stressed and moody and grouchy but after her salvation with Christ. She became a prayer warrior loving caring and telling neighbors and famy about Jesus. 😊 she died at 91 last year

Tasha, I'm with you on your experiences 100%. I had a very similar situation as yours, although my mom never got dementia. She lived to 96 though, and died thinking this was the "truth". My thinking is that my mom gave birth to me, and along with that came a brain. I'm confident knowing that she'd want me to use it, just as I'd just my legs, arms, etc. Even though I used to be in this cult for 15 years, critical thinking showed me that this was far from the truth. This is nothing more than an organization interested in only money and control of their members. Feel good knowing that you took care of your mom (as I did), and the witnesses were probably resentful that worldly people like us had more compassions for our mothers than they ever could.

One more class action lawsuit coming up in Canada $66 million. First hearing in Montreal in December, since Canada is part of the Commonwealth they could use the Australian Royal Commission as a precedent for the prosecution.I plan on going .Thank you 🙏 JT for this video. Candice conti ruling got reversed Montana ruling got reversed. I have no doubt whatsoever that any unfavorable ruling against the watchtower will inevitably get reversed. As of the present there is nothing beyond salvage for the watchtower because they got their money doing the talking when their lawyers are done talking.

You two make some of the best videos out there! It's frustrating to see the organization set themselves up legally so that their victims cannot get compensated the way they should. It's also sickening how they protect the devils at the top of their organization (the Governing Haughty) yet allow Circuit Overseers and elders to take the fall when things go south. Irwin Zalkin of the Zalkin law firm who has litigated the Catholic church on multiple occasions once said that the Catholic church continued to pay out lawsuits until it became too expansive, then finally policy changes were made. Let's hope JW org continues to lose all their expensive lawsuits and then decide to make the necessary changes to their damaging policies that protect their pedophiles.

Yes it is shameful in my case the ministerial servent as they where called then my best friends father molested me when I was 15. The only thingbinasctold was that he admitted it but basically blamed me for being too enticing and that “The devil was in me and made him do this “ imagine hearing this as a victim!?! He wand his family moved away he was disfellowshipped but never reported. Years later I reconnected with my childhood friend and found out he had been molesting his own daughters for years. I left home at 17 to get away from it. My Mother let them come in and take over our lives. I even tried to be in it so I could be close to my siblings. I only lasted 5 years. I saw so many things that were wrong. I am still affected by the brainwashing. Its a very destructive group of people that tear families down the middle. You weren't a fool. I would be willing to bet that you have a big heart - simple as that. They preyed upon your desire to help others, to love your family the best way you knew how and do right in the eyes of God. Intellect has nothing to do with the needs of the heart. FWIW, most people that leave restrictive churches feel duped and stupid. I did, and all of the individuals that I personally know did too. Destructive ministers or churches are perhaps worse than worldly con-men because they prey upon a persons morality & most intimate spiritual aspirations all in the name of God with consequences to the very soul in the after-life being at stake. I hope you are feeling less critical of yourself - leaving is so much harder than joining - you chose the brave route. I know many that know the truth about their church, but will not ever leave it because they are big fish in a little pond and they are afraid of negating their life's work. The Nuns did finally bring to light what was happening in the Catholic Church but It started with one nun who had seen enough. I think you can find abusers in every Church because it is a safe place to hide. Don't worry we will pray it away and make you better, you are a good Christian only if you forgive your abuser. I am so happy I stumbled across this channel. I have been disfellowshipped for years because I was baptized at 14. My father was presiding overseer at 1 point so my family always had to be the glowing example. I was labeled a whore because I got pregnant at 16 from my 1st sexual experience. I have struggled with my feelings about this religion for so long because it has dramatically affected my relationships with my family. My mother and brothers wrote me letters basically stating I’m not welcome in their home. When my father passed away, I was not allowed at the repast. I long for a relationship with my family, I have 2 nieces and a sister in law that I barely know and it’s been years. I never see them anymore after this last letter because I’ve been on this emotional roller coaster for more than 20 years so I decided to finally get off it. It’s so reassuring knowing that it’s not just me. I was raised a witness and thought I was crazy for leaving. Thank you all so much, it’s such a good feeling knowing I’m not alone............

hi! I'm 19 years old and I've been baptized as a witness for a little more than 3 years now. I'm also currently a regular pioneer. I was raised as a witness. just recently is when I started to question not only doctrinal things but also the society's ways of handling certain things (like this). for a while I've been blindly trusting pretty much whatever the elders and circuit overseers tell us. I love my congregation and the congregations around me. they're so loving and it hurts me looking into things like this and seeing how much they're really keeping from us. this case really first it for me. this isnt something that should be dealt with internally! especially by people who arent knowledgeable on legal matters. I've learned so much externally the past few months from my own research and it really hurts me knowing how much they keep from us and change things around on us. I want to talk with my mom about this but she'll defend the society until her death and say exactly what you said. that its "persecution" and sent from satan! thank you so much for these videos. I dont know when I'll be able to leave (I'm actually kind of scared to leave at this point), but I dont think I can stay in an organization that does things like this.

I remember when Milton Henschel was last listed as both a Governing Body member and as "President" on the inner cover of the Watchtower magazine. By year 2000 that was no more. I believe the "corporate President" is Leon Weaver, Jr. and Simonis was listed as the Secretary. Don Adams was the "President" for many years after Henschel. We can start to see how this fallout from the $35 Million lawsuit is affecting the organization as the Big Boys and Heaviest of Heavies try to absolve themselves of any liability or responsibility like a modern-day "Pontius Pilate Class". Non JW viewer here. These videos remind me of my church the SDA organization. They like JWs have been highly critical of the Catholic Church. I found out that my church has formed business partnerships with catholic healthcare organizations. How do you teach that a group is evil only to go into business with them. The religious organizations are really businesses . They are making business decisions. We also don’t have access to all of the writings of the SDA church. Certain writings are hidden out of sight. JT and Lady C , you’re doing a tremendous work. I like that your analysis is level headed and not spiteful. The damage that the JW organization inflicts on it’s victims is immeasurable.

Elders destroyed our family. I was being abused, they had my mom send me to live in another state and let her husband stay in the home saying she had no grounds for separation or divorce. He still got to preach and be around my siblings. Years later same thing happens again to my younger brother. He was 13, got kicked out of the home. He turned to drugs from the trauma. He passed away at 34 one month ago. JW stole his Funeral service and turned it into an infomercial. Last jab at him. RIP little brother. I plan to make videos on KZbin to talk more to this subject. Also an elder flashed me when I was 15 years old. Mom didn't believe me. Still an elder.

Because my ex and older son paid for the funeral my ex who I can write a book about while being in the org had elders and other witnesses come They had as you put it a whole informercial on witnesses being the only true religion My son was grown, had never been baptized and did not believe. The funeral was at the funeral home. It was jam packed. I guess they thought it was a good time to preach to all these worldly people. The elder totally disrespected what was written by my daughter in the obituary and would not read it as written. On top of all of this not one of them spoke hi or offered any condolences to me. I expected that but others there who were not witnesses asked me about it. Prior I would not ever say anything about the witnesses but I spilled the beans afterwards. What big hypocrites and loveless people.

have are subject to decay and death they are corruptible corruptible bodies cannot inherit heaven so what must happen to these corruptible bodies in order that they may inherit heaven verse 53,54 of 1 Corinthians 15 let's read 1 Timothy 2:5 Jesus the Man is soon coming to Philippians 3:21 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 the physical glorified bodies will be transported into heaven Jesus will one day bring us back to a new earth compare KJV Romans 8:23 with NWT Romans 8:23 there is a big difference in the release of our body and the release from our body the release of our body is the release from the pain of decay and death and that release is the addition of immortality and the kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures proves that the KJV translation I have also made this point not only with this issue but on many other issues such as alcoholism, depression, suicide and various other issues. Yes many of the Brothers may have good intentions but they simply don’t have the means to deal with these things.

Exactly, I have said the same thing many times. They are not trained in the humanities like the clergy who go to seminary school. The Elders are trained in sale pitches and how to maintain corporate policy. They are not trained how to deal with humans on a human level. It's really sad and painful to watch because they literally flounder in this regard. You can see in every awkward after awkward talk that they give dealing with a serious human issue. I, sometimes, feel they are more comfortable disfellowshipping people because then they don't have to deal with the person or their problem any more. Just cut them loose and if they manage to swim and not sink, they'll let them back in...eventually when their little "problem" is cleared up.

Kay B // A few years ago someone I grew up withat the Hall committed suicide, she had been disfellowedshiped but returned. I called another girl I grew up with since I hadn't been to the Hall in years. She directed me to call her mother who was still faithfully attending. I called, I expressed how I hated to be calling under this type of situation but here I am. I asked what was going on and she said that she didn't know what made her go down this road. I said I had heard that her husband was ending the marriage and there were concerns over money these can be prime triggers. She responded no that wasn't the case she simply lost the spirit of Jehovah. I got upset by this, I was floored that she would give such an unfounded answer. I replied that people who commit suicide suffer from very deep depression and it can be hard for even an expert to spot someone who is suicidal and anyone can learn to spot the signs and why not learn from this sad event so others can be saved? She had no response after that. I’m willing to bet that if the society kept records on suicides there would be another big round of lawsuits and even more public scrutiny.

Hi JT and Lady Cee, unfortunately I didn't know any better and included them in my initial Will, thankfully I can get access to a free attorney to rewrite it leaving the Borg and Jehovadrones lol out yay yippee yahoo and yehaw, I don't always speak well of attorneys, but this one's awesomenessville lol!
