The elders decide to freak the congregation out and encourage them to be paranoid cowards.

I'm so happy you made your way out. The JW destroyed my family. My childhood was stolen, my mother left with an elder who was my fathers best friend, my father shunned me for over 20 years, the he overdosed in a rented room after he was DF. I'm writing a book about it called Malice in Wonderland.

Hi Karl. Love the vids and hope they get a wide viewing. You are going through a series of emotions; loss, grief, anger and abandonment, etc. It will pass and you move on. In the meantime, your insights will encourage others to leave the sect and open their eyes that no religion has a monopoly on truth. As an atheist, I have studied the Bible widely, in Greek and Hebrew and cross checked using many sources.... loads that they teach is rubbish. Convincing them of that, is difficult, as most are poorly educated and totally unable to connect independent research. Even if they do, they can't discuss anything as they are not allowed to. Sad. Keep going. Best wishes.

A local Kingdom Hall had a Wrought Iron fence erected in front of the main door that was padlocked to prevent unwanted visitors reaching the main door. Unfortunately the Elders must have realised it would be quite easy for any Apostate to add a small length of chain around the gate and attach a second padlock. To overcome this possibility they must have spent thousands of English Pounds Sterling encircling the entire Car Park with a high metal fence and gate of Industrial Proportions like it was a Commercial Premises, Not very attractive at all. !

the gate and lock means you don't have permission to be on property. if you cross they can have you arrested. it also releases them from any liability if you hurt yourself on their property.

There is no law about filming anyone in a public place. You can walk round town all day talking pictures and there is not a thing anyone can do. There are thousands of you tube videos backing this up. If it was the case then all CCTV cameras would have to be taken down and the police and other security officials would not be able to do it.

Regarding the padlock on the gate. It might not be so much a case of them trying to prevent you from getting in as much as it might be case of them trying to have grounds to have you be prosecuted for trespassing. I don't know what the laws in the UK are like. But you might want to research to see if there is anything about entering a locked premises.

Yeah Karl my Sister and myself were Also Jehovah's Witnesses. Both of Us born in to it and brought up AS JW's ! Had also many of my Family in it as well !!That is until I was Grassed up by my best Friend and Cousin for Smoking ! Hauled into a JW Disiplinary and Got Disfellowshipped ! 19 Year's Down the Plughole !! All Those I cared about looked at me as if I was a Bad Smell ! Blanked as if non existant ! Then I went to my First Rave ! My Sister followed a couple of Year's Later ! Awaiting Armageddon Now !! LOL

Hello Karl, from what I understand in your previous videos, you were once a Jehovah's Witness and decided to leave the religion due to differences in opinions over the period of time you were there. And, since leaving the cult, the people whom you were friends with had completely shun you because you decided to leave. Personally, I think it's very impertinent of them to act like this; considering you've been friends with them for many years. I also think it's very injudicious of them to behave in such a way which ostracises you simply because you've left a faith you no longer believe in. My question to you is this: why are you still making these videos? You've proved your point about these people and the religion itself. So why the need to continue? It seems to me that you're wasting your energy and time on this. They're not proper friends if they just eschew you now that you've left. Good friends support you no matter what your religion, race, or sexuality is. They and that laughable excuse of a religion are really not worth it. I would, however, like to thank you for having the braveness to show us what these people can be like.

Growing up the elders kids were always going out to night clubs drinking and having wild partied but i was never allowed to go but i would hear about the parties later and who got drunk and had sex etc… always the elders kids and if i repeated any of what i heard i would be hauled in front go the committee and lectured bout gossiping and i should lose weight so i could get married and not be jealous over not being invited to parties and i would then in turn not have to make up such terrible lies

I would not want to appear on your film as it is highly probable that you would portray me negatively, so I would choose to avoid confrontation.
