Marbula One: O'raceway GP (S1R2) - Marble Race by Jelle's Marble Runs

The second marble RACE of the brand new Marbula One! (formula one for marbles) This weekend, our racers will have to master the course of the O'rangers, the O'raceway! AFTER THE PREMIERE this will become just a normal video!
NOTES:
- The name "Marbula One" is copyright protected, we reached out to the F1 trademark department and they were nice enough to assure there will not be any problems with us using the name. We are NOT associated to Formula 1 or its teams in any way.
- About the main cam and video quality, I accidentally set it to 4k 30p instead of HD 60p. I apologize for this incovenience.
- CONVEYOR BELT: We will improve the entryway and exit of the conveyor belt to prevent more accidents and marbles hanging at the belt entrance.

Not only that, but you can clearly see that he is the only one to actually acknowledge the yellow flag in that sector. He got overtaken by three opponents on that stretch because he was the only one to lower his speed. I really think the rules should be made more clear regarding how to behave under yellow.

I like the idea of, when the Safety Marble is deployed, the field lining up 1 space on the conveyor belt apart for a restart. It bunches up the field, but keeps positions.

Rapidly "stole" the show this time. From taking "the high way" several times, slowing down and losing several positions to help Wospy return to the race, to coming back to fight for second place. And what a fight it was! Constant tension between Smoggy and Rapidly, passings that last the blink of an eye, excellent shut downs... This showed what Marbula One can be.

I might sound like a grump, but I didn’t enjoy Rapidly’s performance, because that’s exactly what it was. Between this and showboating down the median strip, he made the race about him. No marble is bigger than the team. Especially on the Savage Speeders. I said before race one I was worried about complacency affecting their chances, and I’ve seen nothing to change that here .

So what if he was showboating a little? This is supposed to be entertaining to watch, and no one this race made things more entertaining than Rapidly. Between going straight down the attenuator on the first lap and making sure Wospy wasn’t stranded on the track, I haven’t enjoyed watching a race more than this one. Also, since you’re grumping about supposed complacency: Do note that there near the end when he was genuinely jockeying for position with Smoggy, he did lay down the block instead of getting flashy. He knows when not to show off for the sake of showing off, and his finish speaks for itself.

I would really like this too. What would make an already good experience would be to have pre and post race analysis from a team of media marbles, with Greg Woods being promoted/delegated to this team, as such being the only human media marble.

I'm not really surprised. After a disappointing start in the season we braught out Billy, with his background in marblerallye we knew he wouldaster this track with the Sandy part

Spoiler? Rapidly shows up his sportsmanship to Wospy but he did fought back to 2nd place! It's quite more interesting to see marbles with sportsmanship. Great effort tough for both Rapidly and Smoggy in a tight battle. And also, Limelime and Bolt did finish in top 5 and made a great jump in the standings. Of course Billy, really dominating this race and puts his team in 2nd place! That was so terrific for "The Kid". Very excited to see the Momotorway in the next race. I wish to have a good luck to all. EDIT: Forgot to mention Rapidly, as he said on 2:21, "Hey! It's three paths! Just hold my beer!". Boy, that really is insane but unbelievable.

After finding out about the incorrect camera setting, they could have reshot the race but instead held up the integrity of sport and competition by keeping the footage. Respect+

Rapidly is not only a superb athlete, but an excellent example of the kindness that all of marblekind is capable of. He was willing to sacrifice a chance to overtake the leader to help Wospy, who was in a dangerous position. It's entirely possible that cost him first, considering how close he was to winning this outright. I believe he should at least receive a reward in recognition of his decency and sportsmanship of remarkable caliber.

It was almost as good a showing as the savage speeders in race one, but the snowballs arent hosts or as popular as the savage speeders so as is with any team in the mid/lower 'tiers' its often overlooked

On lap 4 Pulsar from Team Galactic had a bad bump on the sand section @3:47 but the next lap @4:22 they flew straight down it and caught up. So many times Galactic would take great racing lines but get stopped by other teams. They've got to work on their overtaking skills cause Race 1 proves that once they're in the top 3 they can battle their way to first!

They are rivals since the second Marblelympics, and while MW are kind of forgotten by most fans and commentators, they tend to gift the most emotions to whoever follows them. Sadly, there's a majority of bad ones, like in this race :( #FearTheNight

Some say that the Savage Speeders helped the Midnight Wisps train in 2016 so they could get ready for the 2017 Marblelympics. The 2 teams have some history and mad respect for each other even if at times it could seem that there's heat between the two like at the 2018 Marblelympics when the Wisps defeated the Speeders for the title.

Rapidly is a champ. Speedy is currently getting all the attention right now, both good (For winning the individual racer championship and the constructed championship for the Speeders) and bad (for the early start during the Midnight Bay qualifier, IMO a silly thing to get worked up about), but Rapidly has been one of my favorite Marbles to watch this entire season. He was incredibly flashy at the O'Raceway, yet showed compassion even when it arguably cost him the race. Glad to see him repping great sportsmanship.

Been a huge green ducks fan ever since the 2019 Relay run - thrilling come from behind finish over the O'rangers. Great to see an emphatic victory here, gonna be tough to beat in 2020!
