Pro tip- Hawaiian Punch Berry Blue Typhoon mix packets. I've caught trout, bass, catfish, leopard shark and batray using it on bait.

Try some garlic salt in the jello and chicken and a packet of kool aid

Try chicken with soy sauce, garlic and a pinch of sugar, in my limited tests it beat plain and jello chicken as well as worms or cut bluegill.

Try Pam cooking spray on any bait , you can even spray it on a small rag and catch monster catfish. Yes ANYTHING with Pam cooking spray will attract Monsters but is kinda messy

Paused at 0:50.. chicken is king for catfish, garlic powder on said chicken is emperor. I'd have to go with jello because any addition to a known winner has to give better results statistically

I actually prefer kool-aid to jello. It seems like it penetrates better and it definitely draws the moisture out more.

Chicken works good on the potomac River for us, but at other waters we fish chicken liver is better.

A old style bait was a 3 or 4 inch shiner, cut open the belly and double hook it with the hook point hidden. We used this long ago
