One thing I'd really like to see from Stardew is your children becoming adults and moving into their own home, either in town or on the farm.

That would introduce the concept of actual time passing in Stardew, which would mean the oldies would probably have to die at some point too. Not sure that goes with the spirit of things.

@kamikazesopp Why would they have to die? You could just keep everyone else the same age. It's a video game. People can suspend their disbelief about it. They already do for so many other aspects of the game. You can turn your children in doves but they can't age into adulthood?
