@@zedskye Iirc, it's not just that. Said tire company back in the day wasn't making enough money since cars were a new mode of transport. They tried to make a tour leaflet thing for their customers, but most of the customers were very rich people who travelled far and were looking for food. So Michelin, the tire company, created a flawed rating system for restaurants which they could recommend to customers on these leaflets as high quality. Eventually, I think after WW2, the tire company and the Michelin star became separate for some reason (probably financial) In other words, Kronii mentions the Michelin star rating, but Kobo only knows the 'worm-like' mascot from the tire company, both of which historically stem from the tire company At least that's what I read somewhere on the Internet, so don't fully quote me on this.

@@paradis3r972 I knew that Michelin is the name of the tire company and they are related to the Michelin rating, but I still see no similarities between the big michelin mascot and a worm. I mean, a worm looks like a small snake, it's long and thin like living spaghetti. The mascot on the other hand looks like a human who gained too much weight. It's a common phrase to say about a fat person that he "looks like the michelin guy". Couldn't be more different from a worm in my opinion.
