Arlecchino, Bennet, Kazuha + flex and Neuvilette, Furina, Xilonen + flex These 2 teams will be insane and pretty much trivialize the game for anyone. For flex slot either mono pyro or a hydro for vape for Arle and for Neuvi can go for healer like Jean as examples.

Many people seems to be comparing her to Kazuha. But if we were to look back a bit in the game history, this situation is very similar to when Yelan was being compared to Xingqiu. And we know how it end. Both ended being paired together or use seperately in a team because they are just so good. This is the exact same situation with Xilonen and Kazuha. You have big single target healing with Xilonen vs strong grouping with Kazuha. You have higher uptime in effects with Xillonen vs slightly higher buff value with Kazuha and the utility of his burst as element applier.

Quick thing for electro charged and aggravate, in those teams generally kazuha will provide a solid amount of damage in his swirls so it is unlikely that xilonen will strictly replace kazuha in them HOWEVER you do get the advantage of being able to run nahida alongside a sustain in aggravate which might in turn lead to an upgrade for people who rely on sustains. Either way really excited for xilonen and I can't wait to see how she'll function in many different teams as well as in exploration!

If you look at 2 + target scenarios, kazuha is doing as much or more damage than fischl or yae in those teams, its frankly impossible to replace him in multi targ aggravate Like literally dropping nahida for baizhu or yaoyao is still better than dropping kazuha for anything else there in aoe agg.

I've kazuha and will get xilonen because I love having options and the flexibility in choosing teams to handle different situations. I'm not afraid I don't have enough characters for imaginary theater or can't swirl my desired element if enemy is pure elemental beings like slimes etc. If players have the capability, having both is better than comparing or simp for only 1 of them.

Shes as good as Kazuha. However, she trades out grouping and DMG from his swirls for Healing and RES shred that never has to be reset. Make your decision based off that information. She isnt exactly must pull, but having another Kazuha makes her almost always good, but not necessarily needed if you already have Kazuha.

In team building, xilonen can't provide crystalize during rotation because she doesn't have any off feild abilities (not unless in mono geo 2 tick from burst). Xilonen 2 PECH sampler= burst heal Xilonen 1 or 0 PECH sampler= damage 2 tick Also just like kazuha if you want to maximize her dmg bonus from artifact you have to crystalize both element (for example pyro and hydro) in certain teams.

To be fair, she doesn't need to provide continuous reaction off-field unless you play her with Navia. 15s Shred on her skill and 20s DMG Bonus from artifact is enough for most team, even in the long 26s Neuvillette 4CA rotation.

So it'd best to utilize her supportive capabilities to the fullest. - DEF% Weapon or ER Weapon - DEF%(or ER)/DEF%/Healing Bonus artifact with as many ER as possible in substat. You can still build her with some crit rate if you use favonious weapon. But from the information we have right now, it's not really necessary to use that weapon.

The main issue is she has a really long setup time for a suppor 4s-5s so not having offeild ap can cause you to lose 12%dmg bonus or cause you to not crystallize for shields in neuv teams or generate stacks in Navi’s teams.

While Kazuha E -> High Plunge -> Q -> Swap is about 3.1s it's more or less the same with Xilonen having to deal with hitlag on the 2 NAs. You can look up frame data for these character in TC's channel everywhere.

Personally, i dont think she is better than kazuha. Shes more on par. Kazuha has scenarios where he can be a lot better than her as well. If u need grouping, Kazuha is the only unit in the game and no amount of Xilonen buffs can replace grouping. Secondly, if u need Kazuhas elemental application through his burst, Xilonen cant replace her either. So thats 2 scenarios where Xilonen cannot replace kazuha at all meanwhile kazuha can replace Xilonen in most scenarios. Lastly, Kazuha does quite alot of dmg especially in aggravate and EC. Xilonen does not.

Hmm... trying to recall the last time I used Xiangling. I think it was, um, that double cryo lector Abyss, the first time the Bishop appeared. Needed a little more pyro for shield breaking, because coordinated attacks don't proc unless you deal damage, and that was an issue I ran into at that one particular point of time, against that one chamber.

I will say Yelan(C0) and Xingqiu(C6) are more equal than Kazuha and Xilonen, Cause Xilonen has some Qol improvements that have Kazuha beat. Longer duration of res shred, easier set up(no swirl needed), Also I am nitpicking here but my three piece em Kazuha on Fav gives 30% bonus, Xilonen gives 40%. But tbf it does come down to personal preference, I like her design more than Kazuha's and hope she revives mono geo.

Xilonen on the other hand, will have to proc crystallize reaction of 2 different element each to gain dmg bonus on both element. And some scenario will also favor kazuha, mainly grouping need and additional element applier need via his burst. So while on paper xilonen does have superior QoL, the use case will ultimately determine the value.

Maybe I’m just coping, but she just doesn’t seem to be better than Kazuha, at least not my Kazuha in the teams I use him in, mostly Clorinde Aggravate and Childe International. My Kazuha with R5 Xiphos Moonlight gives 40% DMG bonus (45% with Instructors buff from either Kirara or Benny), 40% res shred, and 22% ER. Xilonen seems to give similar stuff, but with healing instead of grouping. The personal damage comparison is still up in the air, but for Aggravate specifically Kazuha does a lot. This isn’t to say either of them are better than the other, but that I think who is ‘better’ is going to be account-based. For me, she doesn’t seem better and I really doubt she will be, so I think it’s much too soon to call powercreep. The real difference maker could be her weapon. Xiphos is really good, but it’s hardly a signature and most people don’t have it, and Freedom sworn not helping with energy makes it not feel great in a lot of teams. So C0(R1) comparisons will probably show Kazuha as a lot less favorable when KZbinrs test it. I still have hope (cope) for the future in this regard, since Kazuha’s buff scales with stats, it’s entirely possible a 5 star weapon that is truly perfect for him could come out and help him keep up with Xilonen at R1.

That is honestly not worth arguing much about :/

Yep, unless testing finds something special, Xilonen sounds like lower value to your account. I can’t see Xilonen doing better than an Anemo in the Childe team given how much damage you’ll lose when enemies aren’t grouped into Riptide. Same goes for aggravate for the reasons mentioned in the video (even if your Kazuha is taken up on the other Abyss side, Sucrose or Lynette with electro infused burst will probably be within 10% of Xilonen).

@@vaughn3739 I really doubt she’ll be better. Clorinde already really likes Kirara as her sustain and doesn’t benefit from healing all that much. If you personally like using Nahida as your dendro you might like her better, since getting a swirl is kinda hard with Nahida dominating the quicken aura with her dendro. But since you’re also giving up your grouping too it’s hard to recommend if you already have Kazuha.

It says in her skill description that her samplers are Geo by default and Geo samplers are active by default but she has to stay onfield. "The initial recorded Source Sample within each Sampler will be Geo." "While Xilonen is in the Nightsoul's Blessing state, the Geo Source Sample she carries will always be active." Needing to be on-field, losing out on the healing and inability to turn on her non-Geo samplers in triple geo/mono geo teams is her only restrictions. But it sounds like she wants to be the on fielder in a mono geo team due to the damage bonuses she gives herself. Whether that's good or not, I don't know.

I feel like Kazuha has much better value than Furina on accounts that don't already have a large number of strong carries and don't have a lot of other well built healers and buffers. Otherwise you'll pull Furina, have no team to place her on for at least half a year, then have to spend half a year farming the artifacts to actually make her viable for the team you end up putting her on. Kazuha on the other hand can work right out of the box, it's easy to gear him, and you can use him without having already pulled for and built a strong carry unit and their other supports.

@@GraveUypo at equal constellation and no weapon : kazuha give 40 percent elemental damage. Viridecent set gives 40 percent elemental shred. Xilonen give 36 elemental shred.her artifact set gives 40 percent elemental damage…and even with her weapon at 3000 defense she would give 40 plus 26.6 elemental damage…so 66,furina buffs elemental damage by 75 at max fanfare,gives 40 percent hp if there’s another hydro character on the team with hydro resonance…c2 xilonen is slightly better then c0 furina with another hydro character…she is good but not that good…also furina’s c1 is fairly strong…not to mention furina buffs healing and her first passive gives heals to the whole party if a character over heals…xilonen is great…the best geo character even…but not that Amaizing…definitely will pull for her tho

I don't see her working in any meta team right now, Neuvillette would be oversatured with damage bonus, Arlecchino with double healers is just stupid, you can just use kazuha for grouping instead of having two characters doing basically nothing because Arlecchino is unhealable (Benny is at least buffing ATK, but Xilonen would be doing Kazuha's role while being less effective), and most of the other carries can't even slot her in their teams, unless i'm missing something, i believe she is meant for future carries.

13:30 actually according to the math testers at KQM if her numbers stay relatively similar to what they were on the test server she’s strictly an upgrade over kazuha if you don’t care about grouping. This is cause her flat resistance shred is more useful than intermittent swirls. Swirling on any team with nahida is extremely difficult cause nahida’s dendro aura kinda overwrites everything. and the fact that she heals allows Clorinde to stack more bond of life (excess healing is turned into bond of life) so yeah if you’ve been using Clorinde with kazuha xilonen is just a complete upgrade

personally i feel like xilonen might not elevate aggravate teams, but will make it a lot easier to play. currently you need to choose between nahida, nahida with proto amber, or a defensive dendro unit. outside of clorinde teams, aggravate really struggles with properly slotting in a healer that's not a downgrade. xilonen allows you to run nahida with a more offensive weapon like thousand floating dream and still get healing

At C0, Situationally better. Kazuha prevails in multi-target fights and when you lack some application. Xilonen dominates in mono-target fights and with Navia. She's also more comfortable with Furina. Now at C2 ... Although Kazuha does get an edge over Xilonen from the ER offered by Xiphos Moonlight.

Man, I just wish I could vibe with the design of the Natlan characters. I just feel they are all so goofy and out of place in the world of Teyvat. The whole 80's aesthetic and weird aesthetics they have just seems so random, 8 bit video games, roller skates, music sword, etc. Like, I don't hate their designs in a vacuum, and I think their combat abilities seem fun and interesting. But there is just something about their aesthetic that I just cannot vibe with, it all pulls me out of the world of Teyvat because it's all so anachronistically Earth-coded. Thus far I haven't seen one that I can see myself pulling no matter how strong they are because of my aversion to this. I wish I wasn't this way, because I'm sure the characters are fun and powerful. I guess I can only hope that some of the characters don't have this weird unexplained 80's Earth aesthetic, like maybe a Fatui or something, otherwise I'll be stuck pulling on rerun banners for most of Natlan.

same for me, i quit in natlan's first trailer but i still keep up because my friends keep talking about it. all characters feel forced to be there. genshin was all elegant, with medieval and classical references, it was more traditional fantasy than modern in the spectrum. the rollerskates are fine, but a DJ..? in a world where there isnt even radio? same for kinich 8-bit thing and mualani urbanity, the extravagant goofyness are not bad, they're just not genshin. hoyoverse lost track of each game's fidelity and identity after zzz, in their futuristic games it can slide (like HSR realising a rapping grafitti ninja, it doesnt fit but they can make it make sense), in genshin it doesn't for being such a classic feeling rpg in 2020 it was called a zelda ripoff, now they're going in the splatoon route lmao

@@sakaom Yeah, my main problem is that if they want to embrace those aesthetic, HSR and ZZZ are RIGHT THERE. Why the need to force them into Genshin? A massive open world game that is focused on exploration, immersion and story? It just reads like they had run out of ideas, which is really sad because they had barely scratched the surface of what is possible in fantasy with a hint of sci-fi and with the South American aesthetic they are embracing in Natlan. Nothing about Natlan's story justifies the weird sudden shift to all these modern Earth things, it all just seems to out of place. I really hope they don't do this with EVERY character released in 5.X, and give some crumbs to people not into this aesthetic. Man now I'm just thinking about all the awesome things they could have done with a South American aesthetic in terms of powers and character designs without all this anachronistic stuff and I'm sad.

it would be impossible for raiden to burst once in 12 sec even more for sara. there would be energy issues. raiden on field time its something like 10 sec and you will need to switch to supports at least for the sake of buffs and using skill and burst to restore energy. best case scenario it would be like 15 sec rotation.

Personal opinion. You say she's better than kazuha and fits more teams. But unless she's chervuse level of not needing to hit enemies at all to apply shred, she's just geo kazuha and doesn't fit in any teams different than kazuha. Even the natlan set needs her to have hyper fast icd to make her better because she'll need to set up for double crystallise. Yeah her being healer is more flexible. But her being geo changed nothing. Her buffing changes nothing except navia and noelle if you use furina yelan noelle.

Xilonen: - resistance shred (like VV) - heals - can proc new support artifact set - looks amazing - pretty damn good mobility in Natlan, with those skates going up any mountain. - Probably will pair exceptionally well with Navia + 2 swirlable element, in the Zhongli spot. Issues: I'll run out of primogems and my 5 star guarantee if I go for her, before I could make sure to have enough resources for Mavuika/Chaska, both of whom I'm also very much interested in.

I do not consider Xilonen a "must pull". The reason why: Xilonen does not shred Physical, Anemo, or Dendro resistances, so she is useless for teams that use one of the 3 for the primary source of damage. For Furina buffs ALL damage, except for transformative reaction damage. But since she is a hydro character, she is still useful for triggering transformative reactions. So Furina remains the only "must pull" unit since she can pretty much fit into any team. Xilonen is still going to one of the best characters in the game and will outrank Zhong Li as the best Geo character. One thing in Zhong Li's favor is that he still has his thick shield and he shreds ALL resistances, including Physical, Anemo, and Dendro.

You're forgetting you don't need a shredder for those elements. Physical has superconduct, Anemo has Faruzan (and Jean C4 ig) and Dendro has the deepwood set. Zhongli isn't even BIS for those teams anymore because with Furina you would rather get a healer than a shielder.

You'll eventually find out that Zhongli unfortunately doesn't have good value outside of a very few teams, and is mostly just a comfort character. I think you will eventually regret pulling for him instead of Xilonen in the long term, if you strictly care about meta (especially looking at investment here). She is just so much more valuable, and you will definetly want to build other teams in the future for which she could be a best in slot character. But if you just like him, then go for it

I agree that "must pull" or perhaps "a very very good versatile pull for nearly every account" is fitting for Xilonen. She opens up more carries and units to more viability, so she is never a bad pull unless: you have too many characters to keep up with atm, absolutely hate the character/play style, don't need the power, or have a unit you want more. She'd also not be great for accounts that are basically Xiao/Itto only mains. But for most, if you pull her, you will find she consolidates roles, and opens more team building opportunities. Verses units like Chiori who are locked to a specific playstyle and team, and should only be pulled if you love the playstyle or don't care and just love the unit.
