The guy is a stand up man, being a father to his kids when a lot of men skip out, being a loving husband to his wife. He came from the bottom and turned his life around. I created a “play when depressed “ play list for when I was going through a hard time which was a lot. Majority of the songs are from Jelly and Struggle Jennings. I was fortunate to be at the Opry that night. I had never heard of Jelly Roll. I was pleasantly surprised when he sang his own songs, but I was truly crying happy tears when Craig called him out to sing and presented him with the framed lyrics. Very emotional moment! The whole show was moving. 2 entertainers were asked to join the Opry that night. Never happened before! Charlie McCoy and Don Schlitz were invited. It was such a wonderful evening and left me with a full heart!

Man jelly gave me chills when he started singing. All things are possible and it’s so awesome seeing someone that really didn’t think they would be anything turn that around for his daughter.
