I'm bad off at the moment but have saved up some suboxone strips and am about to go get me a room for tomorrow and the next day so I can detox in a comfortable as possible setting. I just dropped in to say thank you for your music especially the new song. Your kinda like a beacon of light in the darkness for me bud and really just wanted you to know I'll be playing it and a few of my other faves to keep my mind busy and off of things tomorrow. I've been doing the back and forth for too long. Time to get my life back. Keep me and my family in your prayers and I'll do the same for yours. Thx

AMEN 🙏 🙏 🙏 😢 It's your life experiences that are why you are the perfect artist to tell the truth. I've buried so many family members let alone friends over this pandemic called opiates. I got 4yr & 4mt clean. ONLY because I watched my mother put herself in an early urn. The pain this caused threw me into a suicide ride that only God could save me from. Thanks to you and Bunnie, people get to see and hear how the world really works no matter color or class. Stay real. Stay Blessed because you are a great BLESSING. AMEN 🙏 🙏 🙏

Oh that line at the beginning: "We stopped enabling we never deserted you though." I lost my baby brother at the age of 24 to an overdose. I did just that, stopped enabling but in his eyes I deserted him. The last time my family talked to him was 18 hours before he overdosed. My mom asked him if he wanted to talk to me and he said, " I dont have a sister." I was the one who always "saved" him. Pulled him out of so many bad places but when I realized all I was really doing was enabling. I stopped and that was the hardest thing besides watching him be lowered into the cold earth I had ever done. Just let go.

I have and to be honest still have my own demons, but it's my children I worry about the most fentanyl has got hold of all 3 of them! It wont let go! They don't have or even know there own kids I have tried and tried with them to the point I had to let go!! I love them and don't know what else to do but distance myself so I don't have to watch them slowly die in front of my eyes! This song speaks words I can't find!!

“We stopped enabling... we didn’t desert you “! Felt every bit of that. In 2017 my family had to stop enabling my daddy. We tried. But he was too far gone. A month after we “let go”... he died. To this day I live with so many “what if’s”. Like what if I would’ve tried one more time. It’s been rough, I’ve been in and out of depression. Living in a constant struggle. You’re music has helped me in so many ways. The darks times it’s helped. The happiest times it’s helped. 🧡 right now I’m dealing with a huge depression stage cause my health is horrible. I reached out for help this time. I didn’t isolate myself like the other times. Just know you’re saving lives with this music! Thank you!

Lesean McCoy I did not kill my dad. I done EVERYTHING I could for over 15 years to save him. I’m 30 so at 15 years old I was pleading and begging for him to get help. And trying to even help him realize he needed the help. You can only do so much before it brings you down. And that it did, you have no idea my life or what me and my family have been through. So before commenting on something like this you may wanna second guess. Cause we did try we tried saving him from day one. He was a sick man and an addict. Ugh.

You know every Lyric you sing bring tears for me. My daughter passed away from alcohol withdrawal. My whole family is addicted to something. I'm in recovery. These demons are real. We aren't babies. I can handle a lot. But I somehow cannot handle these fucking demons. My daughter was a strong willed person too and she wasn't able to fight anymore. When you watch your own flesh and blood dying for something she's done to herself.... It takes something away from your faith. Mom, I'll never be sober because I can't fit in my own skin. I'm not here for a long time, only here for a good time. And she wasn't kidding. It haunts you. Thank you Jelly for helping me realize I'm not alone.

I've spent the last 3 whole days of my life working with one of my best friends to kick a 20 year run of methadone/suboxone/heroin/fetty addiction and he was doing fucking AMAZING. He kept praising me for the support and we bonded something crazy. Ive fed this man and his father and put food in his house and told him as long as he is sober i got him. So day 4 I wake up and give him a ring only to catch his voicemail. An hour later he calls me back but its a pocket dial and i hear him talking to someone else and he says YEAH ILL SIT DOWN AND DO ONE, I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT. So im like WTF does that mean and i know if it means what i think it does hes fixing to lie to me. So im like fuck it I throw on shoes and a shirt and peel out over to his dealers house and sure as shit i roll passed his truck sitting in the driveway. As soon as i saw his truck and shook my head this song came on. I owe a big part of my sobriety to the inspiration from your music. Much LOVE. Addiction Kills

This song just hits me so deep in my soul....when you love someone with every ounce of your being and you try and try and try to help them to get away from the life that's going to eventually kill them, and they just don't care....it kills inside. And now it's to the point that I can't even check on them, let alone voice my worry. I try so hard to let go but the worry increases every single day. When I speak, all I hear is my echo returning to me. All I can do is hope and keep faith for them. #JellyRoll your music relates to my life in so many ways, no words can describe it. I listen every single day just to try and realize that I'm not the only one out there that deals with all these situations. I have been suffering from severe depression caused by someone who belittled me and every single day until I actually started to feel the way about myself that they would put me down to. I have been trying to find myself again. You lift me up on the my lowest days, at my lowest points. Thank you so much for your music and not holding back from speaking about your life! #justletgo #echoes #jellyroll

Jelly Rolls lyrics I’m almost ALL of his songs, have seriously been ripped from my own heart and mind! I’ve struggled for YEARS to express my hurts and pains…. To no avail…. I’ve never been able to articulate exactly how I feel. NOW, for every situation or scenario in life, I have a song to describe it all. I’ve used lyrics to explain to loved ones how I feel or have felt. I’ve sent Jelly Roll songs to everyone who has hurt me. Even to those who haven’t and who have been solid and loved me- there’s even songs for them as well! I will ALWAYS consider Jelly Roll one of the MOST talented song writers of our generation! He’s right up there with Leonard Cohen, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. Anyone can sing- but it takes something special from God to be able to WRITE meaningful lyrics! ❤
