Lost my Dad in 09, lost my wife shortly after and then lost myself shortly after that. Been addicted to pain pills most my adult life and it got worse when my old man died. This song though.....alot of your songs actually but this one especially helped me find what was left of my soul bro. So with that being said I say thank you, you've helped so many idk if you truly understand how many but theres so many of us you've saved. Thank you 🙏

Great comment. I always liked to hangout and shit. But my dad died about four years ago and I was mentally prepared for it. But I turned to Coke and went off the deep end with it. It was the only thing that would distract me from life. I don’t need it now but once I start getting right something happens to out me right back into that cycle and it’s so sad to say but I don’t care bc it puts my attention and energy into other things

Robin Williams was a man that loved to bring laughter to people, although he was screaming inside for someone to understand him . Great man he is missed . Glitter is a soulful song that speaks of my past . I often found myself causing pain and worries to my family when all I ever thought of was to show them love but a meth addiction doesn’t stay a secret too long . My family was devastated to see a father fall into a man they didn’t recognize by my actions and accusations. I am redeemed now but I cannot erase the past only look at my present and how I’m a better man . Who ever out there is going through an addiction keep your head up and know it is possible to change your life’s choices for a better tomorrow. God bless you Jelly Roll , you are a modern day prophet cause you bring change and clarity to the cloudy minds that are willing to listen so they can find a Higher Power that loves and forgives us of our imperfections.

So I listen to jelly everyday. Have so on n off mostly on since 2010/2011 and I tear up every single fuckin time. Its emotional when you relate thst deep. From the south. Born into white trash , family in the dope game, momma was a thug pops a Rollin stone ,he left mom was mom n dad. Mom died in 06, jumped off porch into the pill game , got addicted myself for a decade atleast. Now I'm clean for 6 yrs have a beautiful Wife, a 6yr old lil boy a decent career n I'm here to talk about it. We love ya in FL jelly! Dont stop the unique projects you put out. Any of y'all fans from this man from his rap days? Like the actual "therapeutic Music" mixtapes jelly? Maybe it's most of us and I'm trippin but to see an individual's personal growth after already relating to their stories and sound just wow. This is exactly where he should be and as his growth continues in this newer genre of music I'll be listening. This the first time I've been truly excited bout somebody's music in a long minute. His older music somewhat helped get me through some dark times but this new music is not only got a great sound but his lyrics have grown and evolved and relate to & I feel that within my own personal growth. This man the truth, Keep Goin Jelly.
