This was actually the easiest video for me to understand on crocheting further than rope. I’ve been crocheting since I was six.

Found the pattern for this listed on ravelry, got really hyped and found alternative yarns and was preparing to pay for shipping in the morning when it's not 3am, and then saw that the pattern itself was discontinued on the site. Spent the last 5 or so minutes frantically searching the interwebs on the verge of going through the way back machine before this came up. Never been more thrilled :)

I absolutely loved this crochet tutorial! What a fun rug - those happen to also be my favorite colors. I was so inspired that I included your project in a roundup post on my website about beginner crochet projects. Thanks for sharing your skills with the community! Keep up the fantastic work. 😊

Can I use the T-shirt yarn for making floor rugs, I am new to crocheting, please let me know
@krissyj37864 жыл бұрын
SATHAPPAN ARUNACHALAM ..hi, iv used Tshirt yarn for rugs which turn out great with this pattern...But please remember to use a Non-Slip Rug Mat on the Back if you're going to use your rug on a bare floor, e.g., hardwood or tile floors etc....hope this helps you! 😀HAPPY CROCHETING 😀

So it would cost about 30.00 for one rug? Is that about right? I have been doing scrap/rug crochet because of budget. Is there a name brand to look for as far as cost?

@lubird95432 жыл бұрын
If you look closely hers was doing the same thing🙃 mine also Bends a little so I just tug at the side and kind of just press my hands on it to make it lay more flat and it works 💪 but yeah I think it's normal for it to bend a little 😊

So, I'm using your lovely method/pattern using a different yarn (wool ease thick and quick) and I understand and followed along exactly and it starts out looking great but get rippled-waves after the 8th row or so...what am I doing wrong? Maybe too tight? Should I be crocheting loosely?
@Groovynerdmm3 жыл бұрын
I've frogged my rug twice now due to the rippling and i found out correct way to make a larger rug here kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZ2bhXWLd9OIf8k

ok this isn't for beginners like me - I don't know what a double crochet is or chain 2 - I'm trying my best to follow but I keep having to go back, replay and play again and I still can't follow. I'm older - my brain can't follow these things. :(
