The description of the interaction with the cockroach was a clear reference to Lispector's "The passion according to G.H" (in both cases there is a metaphorical engagement with the world as in the sense that to really see the cockroach is to make room, existentially, for it to exist: thus the cockroach is not inside the house, but the onlooker is outside him/herself to make space for it to come forth)

Yeah I put new insoles in immediately. Work boot insoles are very supportive for the heel and fit straight into your shoes without cutting and are a lot cheaper than footprints. The ZX vlc is an awesome shoe though
