People forget or don't know that the "Traditional" or "Modern" weddings were really a thing until the 1800's. Before then it was small event that was held between God, the pastor, the couple, and their immediate family.

@@ashtonclark4039 it wasn't a Traditional wedding. During this time, men and women were separated. The partying was done by the men while the women were preparing the bride for the wedding night. Yes they did "party" but it was a mild and more tamed. This is how Jacob was tricked into Leah becoming his wife 1st. This is where consummation of marriage came about.

I like your Christmas tree! If it's cut, remind Chris after the Holidays to get some heavy weight and sink it. It draws crappie in. Hmmmm, good fish. I imagine you guys will have several, means several fishing holes! Being Christmas is coming up, telling the story of Christmas trees would be fitting with it starting in Austria or something like that, which was Germany.

Laura the actual marriage part of a wedding should be the focus and highlight. What you wear is your choice, it is about how you feel and your intentions not what you wear. We both came to accept Jesus when we had been married 4 years. He blessed us a year later with our first child. So, I didnt have a fuss, but God had his hand on us. Glory to God. X

I elote two Las Vegas at 3:00 in the morning and got married and brought our best friends with us to stand by us. It was so much fun. I think we spent about $100 all total on our wedding 38 years ago. I think it your wedding you were a really pretty blue shirt with a khaki skirt. That's what I remember. You're a cute couple.
