Lovely & Scenic place......old-timey medieval spiritual ghost town which is frozen in time.

Frozen just enough. There's definitely some changes (for the good, like the town cleaning itself up in the last 10-15 years) and the perfume factories there have modernized how they bring in tourism, like expanding into lifestyle products/stores. Hoping the tiny family-owned businesses can stay and that more businesses move into old town.

Great question! What else are you doing while there? Mougins’ old town is much nicer (art galleries and restaurants) and there are more/nicer options for hotels. But Grasse is a little closer to the countryside for day trips.

Plz correct it. Grasse may be the perfume capital of France or per se, Europe. But definitely not the Perfume Capital for the world. Never.

Nope. Grasse itself is the source of that line, so I won't change it until they change it.

@@CookingCompanionTV haha no problem. It's your and also their freedom whatever they call themselves. World is so diverse that it's not just possible for one place to be the world capital of cultures like food, perfume or fashion. I know perfumery and perfumes that are just so unique and utterly different but also very classy as well as sophisticated. Nevertheless those perfume styles and blendings are unheard of grasse. Moreover most of the work of perfumers from grasse on Oudh is just laughable. Well that doesn't mean they are bad in any way. That's becoz the lack of understanding of those ingredients. And that can't be acceptable for a place that calls itself the most High, the capital.
