just a tip: you can weave in an end while you're crocheting if you grab it while you're doing a stitch (I always just hold the end above the loops I'm crocheting into). it saves a lot of time so the only end you have to weave in is the last one!
@MayLina2 жыл бұрын
This is awesome tip, thank you! Is there also something similar for knitting too? I think my mom does it somehow but i can’t figure out where to position the thread so it weaves is as i go
@leestar86422 жыл бұрын
I too do the same
@maekoger2 жыл бұрын
@@MayLina you could weave the loose end back and forth between the front and the back of the work between each stitch while you are knitting, but I find that this isn't super clean looking, but it's worth a try if you want to avoid weaving in ends

You can invisible crochet ribbed hats together by slip stitching into back loops of the first and last rows if you start the project by crocheting thru the back of the chain (the literal underside of the V not just the back leg of the V).
@smallfootprint29612 жыл бұрын
Hi Jenna. I'm so glad to have this idea of crocheting in the flat and sewing it together. Maybe I missed it, but did you decrease at the top? I made the mistake of trying to crochet a hat in a circle. Didn't know about the flat plan then. It was a disaster. It got bigger and smaller, and bigger... well you get it. It was for my daughters boyfriend. I gave it to him, with all the caviates, but he used it whenever he went outside to feed the dog and do chores. What a guy. You did a great job. I love your "just dive in" attitude. It inspires me to just try.
