Dress is beautiful! The cream color is lovely with your skin tone. If you wanted to wear it to a wedding just put a wrap or jacket or cardigan over it in a wedding appropriate color. Get your friends together for a "fancy" lunch or dinner out. Everyone can wear their fancies. My friends and I do this sometimes because living in your casual clothes all the time gets boring. Love your bike. You would probably like mine too because it's a gorgeous green. Good job. Good video. ❤

I must say again how much I enjoy your vlogs. I'm going to be 74 on Saturday. I just started a completely vain task. I ordered pink clothes hangers and I am switching over all my clothes so the closet will look uniform. Like I said, totally vain; BUT I love how it looks.

Hi Jenna. Love the dress. You are so talented to design, and make this with no pattern. It gives me so much inspiration. In case you didn't know, there is something called seam tape. A little silkier and less bulky than bias tape, but the bias tape did the trick, so it was a great choice. Wear it. Throw a duster on and it's fun for a night out with your friends. It'd be fun to see you make a duster with big puffed sleeves. It a great look right now. Anyway, Thanks for showing us how you do this.

You could also look into getting a colored see through dress to go over it so it would be wedding guest appropriate. Like blue or deep purple Lacey or floral patterns one. Like a chiffon.

I have a tip for hemming. Run two lines of stitches parallel to the raw edge the distances you want to fold the edge up. The stitch lines make ironing SO much easier and you don’t have to keep measuring at the ironing board. You can easily pull the stitches out after you’ve ironed and then stitch the folded hem down as you’d normally do

Speaking of bikes, in the mid-80s I was living in Portland, Oregon. A friend came out from Ohio and we took my new bike & my son’s, and drove first to Vancouver, where we rode the bike path around Stanley Park, then around other parts of the city before we took the ferry to Vancouver Island (Victoria), then to Lopez, San Juan and Orcas islands. She still mentions it, and thanks me for the adventures.

For future reference when you dont want to do lining. Buy a slip or a half slip. they come in all colours. A tan/bone/natural will go under nearly any dress and not show. But getting 3 would solve that problem. Natural, black and white. Some nighties are sheer enough you could get away with multiple uses. All available at fantastic prices from thrift shops. Another way is to make them yourself. Then you can have a full slip without the straps as you can elasticate them to your size. Either above or below chest depending on how you feel
