Hi Nancy, and welcome to your lovely guest Jennie. You both are such amazing parents, and it is easy to see how wonderful and caring you are. I learned so much from this video. Your kindness and wisdom are guiding lights in this world and you are helping countless people to understand autism. God works miracles through you. You are so appreciated.

I so enjoyed listening to both of your stories and truths. Advocating, allowing our children to be who they are, and the strength you all have to be their heroes. I am grateful to be part of society that loves our babies as the gift God gave us. We rock as moms!

I have an adult daughter with autism and it’s no one’s business about if Craig works or why don’t he drive some people don’t understand unless they have a child with autism.

I stumbled across your channel randomly and I don’t have anyone in my family or know anyone with autism. I just wanted to say I really enjoy watching your family and I love your always positive attitude. I hope you guys surpass 1m subscribers!

I love love that you are putting other Mothers on who can be helpful to others. Just a positive thought is it would seem so much more personal if you were sitting facing each other talking and looking at each other. Just seems strange that you are looking straight at the camera and not each other. Great info.

Excuse my total ignorance, but whats the chance for getting both of your kids with autism? is it genetic in some way?
@BronwenMcLarenАй бұрын
There does seem to be a genetic link (although perhaps not in all cases). There certainly is in my family, as my father, sister, niece and myself are all autistic to varying degrees.
@BronwenMcLarenАй бұрын
(Unless that could be explained by having similar environmental causes...)
@jenniemyers5936Ай бұрын
Theres alot of different factors that could potentially play part in it. My ex husband and i decided not to worry about getting tested because it wasnt going to change our boys we only wanted to know how we could help them to succeed going forward:)

Well I don't see a email andress any were to send a letter to so I'll post it here. Maybe a little long. Hi, I'm 40 and live on my own without any difficulty and have had the same job for 18 years. As a kid I was never diagnosed with any disability, but in my early 30's I was diagnosed with NVLD and it fits me well. I am extremely verbal with a verbal IQ of 120, Talk a lot, have some learning disabilities and was very clumpsy as a child and the school paid for a an occupational therapist to work with me as a kid etc. After watching your videos I feel more that I may also have high functioning Autisum. I Never had Developmental delays except when I was 3 my Mom was concerned that I was not peeing in the toilet yet, but the doctor said I will pee In the toliet when I'm ready and I did. But as a kid at story time at the library I would spin the mat on my head instead of listening to the story, as a kid untill this day when ever I'm tired or stressed I chew my tounge and as a kid I also made noise while I chewed my tongue. Also I get annoyed when someone makes a mess or moves something in my apartment. As well I hate when my Schedule gets changed, but I get over it much faster then Craig. Oh and as a kid I had extreme meltdowns. What are your thoughts?

Hello! Thank you for sharing your story! I’m not a professional but as a mom I would guess that you are somewhere on the high end of the spectrum. If sounds like you have been able to overcome obstacles and live an independent life. I’m very impressed by your accomplishment! Recognizing that there are reasons for the way we act and react makes it easier to maneuver life. Unfortunately Craig does not have that understanding which limits his ability to live completely independently. It sounds like you’re doing well in life. I wish you so much happiness ❤️ our email is ourdailyview1992@gmail.com
