Katie is so precious. It really encourages me. Our world here in the US is so messed up. Like she said, chaotic. Relationships are what matters. It's what qualifies us for ministry. We've lost that sense of community, and people are so messed up and there is so much church abuse and institutionalizing of the church, How can we find or get back to a healthy church and community experience?

I was sharing with my son this morning. Katie’s story, and I was telling him how hard it was for her to move back to the United States, and how she was still trying to figure out what the purpose was. He had such a great point. He said, maybe it doesn’t have to do with her so much as one of her children. Maybe the calling is because of some thing they will do here, not Katie. Anyways, kids are so insightful sometimes 🤗

Wow my story is so close.. I was diagnosed with Lupus in my Late 30s no fear totally healed in the Chicago at 42. But now am facing anxiety, high blood pressure, husband has been diagnosed stage4 blaster cancer, and fear is at my door , so miss that gift of peace that I had before.

I will pray for you, Corol. I have ME/CFS, Long COVID, autism and anxiety disorders so I know what that fear is like. I will pray that despite being in the midst of all this you will have peace.

I was once told God will speak to you through the most unlikely people, sometimes in casual conversation and they won’t even realise they’re doing it. To me Katie is one such person. I’ve written down a few quotes to take with me to read when I need to be reminded of them the most.
