But that doesn't seem to be what's happening... in too many cases, instead of creating new/original content and characters, we're seeing female reboots of old movies and TV shows just because they starred white men. Not only is it lazy and un-creative, it comes across as more of a revenge play than actually trying to achieve true equality (which I'd argue is already there... equality of opportunity already exists, but they want equality of outcomes through artificial means and taking what others have built.)

Son Goku San there are a whole bunch of reasons for that. Men don’t feel comfortable talking about their problems publicly, they’ve been conditioned their whole life not to. And it would be seen as “unmanly” to talk about feelings (which is extremely problematic and leads to a number of male suicides every year). I think men could learn a thing or two from women. Having a talk show to help people all over the world and letting people know that they aren’t alone in their problems is no bad thing.
