Matthias is a fake person. He is good at acting but he will be disappeared soon. You can tell from everything that he is not a great sincere person who will be a great actor. He is sarcastic and superficial. The only good thing is that he likes to work with David Lynch. The main Hollywood stuff is unintelligent, superficial, predictable and commercial crap. A lot of people making too much money, while big parts of the world are living in poverty.

He acts like this because american culture is very different from european(belgian), in interviews in belgium he's much more laid back. Also englisch is not his mother language so everytime he says something he has to think to make sure he doesn't say anything wrong.

First off... English is his third language, so he always has to think before speaking. Which might make it look a little like he isn't sincere. Also, he just thinks before he speaks instead of just blabbering. Second... He has a "dry" sense of humour. And he's always calm and a bit shy-ish when interviewed in English. You should watch him in non-English interviews. Go for the 24 hour one with Theo Maasen. Third... What "Hollywood stuff" are you talking about. He hasn't done that many (mostly smaller projects) and they've mostly been praised. Fourth... What's it to you? What does his character/personality have to do with other peoples poverty? He didn't create that. He actually is helping with charities during his time off etc. What have you doe so far? Fifth... You seem to be just another sad little individual that has something against talented people making a good living for themselves. The man just has talent, comes from a difficult upbringing and is just being himself and trying to make it for himself! Why does anyone need your negativity?
