I don’t like to be the one who says the party is over., but I will be surprised if they get that much in this market. There are several factors at work. First, sales in California are way down. Interest rates are not favorable right now. However, I would think that if a person has to get a loan to purchase this property, I would question their ability to afford the payments. Most likely, either someone with serious $$$ will make an all cash offer for a discounted amount. Or a company will purchase it. The other factors would be the fact people are LEAVING California for a wide array of issues. Lastly, a “divorce house,” may throw oil on the water. Just my opinion. I really feel sorry for them. I’m sure they both thought it would last this time.

For 68 million, annual property taxes of 425K a year, high HOA fees, etc it needs to have views of the Ocean or City, marble floors everywhere, and be more custom looking. It looks like an oversized cookie cutter 2000 EIFS synthetic stucco build and has the nerve to have a flat roofs that do not match. Flat roof and EIFS synthetic stucco do not work together ie moisture retention and I can already see the mold growing in the back of the house.
