My opinion for Mz Lopez. What she SHOULD have done after the backlash of her album and her movie was a) immediately cancel that tour. Don’t advertise, don’t sell tickets nothing. b) I would have advised her to book very intimidate venues. 500-1000 people max. Bill this tour as an intimate night with Jennifer and her fans. That she wants to spend quality time with those that have supported her through her glorious career. And just scale it way down. Have a concert where she is charming and engaging with the select lucky ones that could get a ticket and then watch those people there fix her rep. Here’s the thing, JLo COULD have had a massive tour… if she played smaller venues or played a handful of shows but her ego couldn’t /doesn’t / wouldn’t allow her to do that. During Madonna’s Madame X tour, she stuck to mostly theaters, dance halls, and concert halls instead of arenas & she still made over $50 million dollars playing to crowds of only 5-10 thousand people a show. Lady Gaga originally only had like 7-8 shows for her Chromatica Ball tour & the demand was so high that she added more shows but In the end only had 20 shows but still grossed over 200 million dollars (when you include the Vegas shows going on too) & was the highest grossing female tour of 2022. Now I know she’s NOWHERE near those two icons but still, it can be done but JLo has never been able to comprehend that she’s not as popular as she thinks

Then all the scandals surrounding her behaviour, her stealing other ppls voices and songs, her getting older and people going through inflation and her tickets being hella expensive. Who is this for ? That is also a question I am wondering. Like what kind of people would attend her shows? She also seems too inauthentic, with her documentary, her stating she comes from the bronx and stuff, trying to seem relateable when she is literally rich for idk 25-30 years? Like? Wtf? That all together just does not create a loyal fanbase and does not make people buy her tickets at all.

I think the decline of her career/popularity is something thats quite normal, that sort of thing is bound to happen at some point, especially as you get older. Her actions just made it happen way quicker and in an embarassing display, no less.
