Probably because, and I mean everything I'm about to say with no malice, Will and Jada went on an apology tour. Chris Rock engaging during that would have just been a year long back and forth. It makes more sense for him to just lay back, and then tell his truth in a singular high profile moment, and then keep it moving. Because honestly, the way Chris Rock went about it left no room for Will or Jada to come back at him with anything. He told no lies, and after a year of explaining themselves Will and Jada have no room to clarify any further.
