I live in Australia, and from my teenage years, until my mid 20's we moved to a country town called Whyalla. I grew up not only on Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck, Doris Day, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, and Greek music my Greek immigrant parents played but also.... the emerging fabulous singers and bands of the 70s and 80s. From Sweet, Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Bee Gees, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, U2, Van Morrison, and Australia's own Cold Chisel, ACDC. To the incredible Donna Summer, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Tyler, Diana Ross, Barbara Streisand, the divine voices of the ABBA girls....all the way through to Whitney, Celine, Adele and Jenifer Hudson - who are ALL fabulous, just fabulous with the most gorgeous voices. But no one, not one woman, can match, nor out sing the divine Jennifer Rush. ❤ Then when I was 22 yrs old, I first heard her on the radio in 1984, with The Power Of Love, I was absolutely bowled over..!!! Her mezzo-soprano voice is pure, crystalline, nitro glycerine from a whisper to her dynamic, soaring brilliance. Jennifer is the female equivalent to the late great Freddie Mercury - and only she can sing Freddie's and Queen's, "Who Wants To Live Forever" so magnificently..!! Now I'm 62 and I still listen to QUEEN, Jennifer..! 👑❤️👑

I “missed” Jennifer in her prime-in fact, I only discovered her 2 months ago. I am a big fan of Celine and only discovered Jennifer because I came across Celine’s cover of POL including Jennifer. I couldn’t believe my ears. I’m 84 and have heard them all, from Ginger Rogers to Edith Piaf to Vera Lynn. Then Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Barbara Streisand, Dusty Springfield, Tammy Wynette, and Bonnie Tyler. Add Gloria Gaynor, Connie Francis, Laura Branigan, Linda Ronstadt, Rita Coolidge, Celine, Mariah, and Whitney and you have the lineup of the greats right up to Adele and Susan Boyle.
